Belkin TuneBase FM. I was kind of skeptical about buying one of these especially in my area where there are only 1-2 open frequencies. The Belkin TuneBase seems to take care of that problem and broadcasts over a free channel even though there appears to be loud static there to begin with. The unit over powers that static and the iPod sounds very nice. I used this with my 160GB Classic. It also has adaptors for all other iPods, even the old iPod Photo which I have one of those as well.

I'm taking this on my road trip in the morning to California from Colorado.

It's great that I can have all my music, podcasts and videos, especially movies to enjoy while at rest areas and on the road.

This is great for those who have no AUX input on their car stereos.

I had one of those (The previous model, I think) and it sucked - no offense. I think the reason was that it had to be angledjust right coming out of my cigarette lighter, and the slightest bump would knock out the power and then it come right back on - so every time it would reset my iPod and start with the first song all over again. It would never remember which playlist I was in either. BUT, I've got one of the lesser models, the TuneFM (Posted on the last page I think) and that's been working great.

Glad this one works out for ya. I wish they came with little remotes or something. That would be cool..

Now that I've seen 'real' photos of the new iPod nano I firmly believe the silver version to be one of the ugliest MP3 players ever made. Yuck!

New shirts. Buying from waste.uk reminds just how awful the US dollar is. Damn.

Awesome call!
Definitely worth the £20. ($40? ish)

I've got the Trapped one you have, and the 15 Step Alright one that I bought at the Manchester gig.

The New Suburbian one was 18, and the other two were 20. Lots of money, but I love love Radiohead. Totally worth it and I can't wait for them to get here!

Got a new pair of Sketchers (attached). I haven't ever owned a pair before, and after seeing some friends have quality issues, I told myself I'd never buy a pair. However, I liked these ones, needed a pair of casual shoes in black, and they were a decent price.

I also got the last copy of Graphic Design: The New Basics that I could find in hardback anywhere on the Internet. I ordered it from Amazon on June 2nd and they still haven't got any hardback copies in. Everywhere else I look turns up temporarily out of stock and it has been this way for months now. I bought the last one off Amazon's vendor list and paid $7.50 more than I was going to. It'll be nice to not have to wait any longer for something that may not ever be available. Now, to bring my account back up from $5.42 is the next challenge. :D

New TV alert!

It's a Sharp Aquos LC-32X20E which I got for £549 in Currys (yeah, a little overpriced but I was not paying one of the cheapo online merchants who said it would be with me in "28 days" time). Truly amazing - it's a 32" TV with integrated DVB-T tuner, full 1920x1080 resolution which means it can do 1080p properly and importantly for me it has 3 HDMI inputs (my last set only had one).

Well packaged and they even included a full size screwdriver in the box! How awesome of them:

Dude that's the exact model I was after a couple weeks ago when they had them on sale on Penny's. I went in to try them out and they didn't have my size and said "Sorry but we won't order them either and can't get them from another store."

I got a pair of leather Converse board shoes in their stead. Oh well... I really had my eye on those Skechers too..
