Not all are my last purchase, but the two tables are and the couches are about 1 month old and the TV is about 2 weeks old. So, all in all, it's pretty dern recent!

Nice floors. I love how they have that partially-stained look. An area rug under the coffee table would really tie the room together though.

Bought some Lemon, Orange and Berry flavours for my 55 mile ride this morning. They are the weirdest things to eat!

I think ill pick some of the Sport Beans from Jelly Belly next. They look pretty good.

Yeah, that's the next step, along with a new table to eat at. We're just having to buy things as we get the money. So, it's a step-by-step process!

However, it wouldn't necessarily tie the room together, just that spot. :) It's a very large room.

I find that gels go down better if you take a shot of the gel and then a sip from the bottle. Don't bother with sport beans; they're not much better than candy. My favourite combo is Gu and Clif bars for long rides.

I'm FINALLY an iPhone user! And couldn't be happier.:D

And I bought an incase slider. Correct me if I'm wrong but I think this is the brand new one that just came out within the last week. Anyway, I'm not blown away by it but it'll do.

I can completely relate to the situation. Within the next couple of weeks the construction company will "deliver" my apartment (appeared in this thread last year), and I decided today what to get before I move in, and what will have to wait until I save some money (don't want to raid my savings too hard ). So, my last purchases (today) were:

Bathroom doors:

Bathroom shelves:

Water heater:

Within the next few days I'll get a desk and a couple of stalls - the table will have to wait, probably until december. Already have the couches, the bed and some smaller stuff, and will get a new TV probably early next month (priorities...).

I like powerbar gel blasts...usually eat half a pack before the ride, drink lots of water, eat the second half, then finish them off and drink a bottle of Garbage (drinkgarbage.com) with more water to follow. Then again it's a little bit of a different application (motocross), but it's similar.

As for my latest purchase, my family got a new dog. Boxer puppy, my brother named him Lou:

Just bought this yesterday:

2007 Toyota Corolla LE in Super White. I love it, and no car payments! :D

Oh, and I finally got delivery on my 13" MBP, with 500 GB HDD. I paid for it Monday, though, so the car is more recent.

[snip]

Water heater:
I love the tankless! I had one installed in my mom and stepmom's duplex about 18 months ago, and they couldn't be happier. It's the only way to go.

Congrats on the new place!

You need those for a 55 mile ride? Really?

Not really, I only had one half way through. But considering it was my 4th ride ever, I feel I did pretty well. Im new to road biking, so I'm still figuring out what my body needs and can do.

Have you got any pictures of your new apartment? I'd be interested to see it, simply because I'm nosy like that...

Oh ok. My dad does lots of long long distance cycling and he only ever takes one drink. Hmm.

Good luck with the cycling though, it's a great feeling.
