How’s the mic working for you?? The studio that my band record in use the D6 kick mic and it suck's b*lls big time.

These problems can be easily solved. Slap a Shure Beta 52 on the outside of the kick and if you can find one, an Audio Technica AT25 sounds great on the inside.
