there epic im using them right now!

so I've heard. These things have tons of positive reviews. it seems the only negative reviews are from people feeding these things a crappy source. Crappy MP3 file = Crappy MP3 music is what everyone keeps saying.

They are really good indeed! You can always try to add a sub to them to squeeze out a little more power. Mine are connected to a sub from my old logitech speakers, adds a nice BOOM effect for movie watching ;)

yup i agree totally, im playing mp3's at 225 kbps and they are crystal clear - they are one step down from powered reference monitors and to the audiophile you cant actually hear anything wrong with them - if you have a bad recording/low bit rate or even a dropped note you will hear it!

M-Audio Studiophile AV 40's.

I saw those in Best Buy. How do they plug into the computer? I'm looking for something that plugs in via the headphone jack and not USB because my last set of speakers, though were really killer Logitech's, they plugged in via USB and with my dell I could spare one because I had 4 usb ports, with my MBP, not so much.

They plug in with this cable, so these would work for you.

Can you believe they still make these things! I need to get super secret document across the country with zero email traceability.

No really, I do.

I used to have that one. One of the best safety mechanisms on the market. BUT. It is a pain in the royal ass to strip down and clean. If you have a fingernail at all on your finger, it'll be gone after you strip it down.

Yeah, I've unfortunately had it take a piece of skin off my pointer finger already. Not that cool.

I think you mean an airsoft gun you had a while back looks dangerously close to this. :p

lol
