What makes it special compared it say a normal mechanical pencil from over here?

For one thing, the barrel is metal. It's heavier and I'm a heavy writer so it's a good thing for me. I started writing with technical pencils when I took a drafting class in high school some 15 years ago, and now they're all I use.

I just liked this particular one because I have a koh-i-noor version I got at an art supply store but it's no longer in production. This is the closest I could find.

Aside from the fact that it has a better construction versus 90% of the stuff made in the states?

Do not even begin to act like you can't get that same stuff here. You think those pencils are the common ones overseas? No, it's the exact shame stuff here. You pay extra to get extra.

If that were untrue, why only buy one?

Nice try, though.

Picked up a new external drive. My old WD My Book Studio was starting to die, so it needed replacing. I got this 1.5TB Samsung Story Station for $120. Sure, it is only USB, not Firewire like the old WD, but its fine for what I need. It has no fans inside, and the drive is one of Samsung's EcoGreen F2s, so it is super quiet and barely generates any heat. The enclosure is metal, and has a real quality feel to it. The dial on the front turns it on, and adjusts the brightness of the activity light that is underneath. Overall, it seems to be a great drive so far, and I'm very happy with it.

lol, you have the elitist attitude. I'm not complaining about him having a cell, hell I had one (a very basic one) at 14, so I understand needing a cell.. What im trying to understand is why a high school student needs two cell phones, and two very expensive cell phones at that.

thank you! some people dont know how to read past their own comments sometimes..

I didn't realize you meant two, because when I first read it, you put "to" instead of "two".

I apologize though, I was a bit quick to judge.

I see no reason why you had to quote my comment as you said basically what I said.

Gaming machine? Judging by the EFI-X chip, I'm guessing kick-ass i7 Hackintosh/gaming/whatever-the-heck he wants to do with it in any OS machine.

It will be an awesome machine especially once I add a second GTX 285 + dual radiator watercooling loop to cool the CPU and graphics cards!

I love my other EFI-X machine so much that I had to build an i7 one, my "Powermac" has been on for almost 2.5 weeks at 100% load crunching about 50 hours of 1080p video without a single issue!
