I've never been a fan of rescue clubs, I tried the original TaylorMade one and that was about the only one which I liked. The later ones, R7, Burner, CGB etc. even the Cobra Baffler DWS which a lot of people swear by did not suit me at all as I try to hit them like irons whereas the later TM ones look more like fairway woods.
the few times i've hit it i feel like in order to make a good hit/connection i need to really lower my swing speed. Once i lower it i hit it fine. Its weird. I want to see what the new rescue 09s are like....
But i finally picked up my burner 09 irons this weekend...amazing! I'm not used to the longer long irons. but the short irons/wedges are awesome. I don't think you you can miss hit with these things.
