So after about 2 year's of delaying for the next revision and the next...
and deciding my 9 year old dell Inspiron with its huge 20G hard drive was kind of holding me back a little...
finally ordered the 17" bad-boy. Standard 2.66GHz except for the 320GB @ 7200rpm.

It's a BTO because of the hard-drive option, so have to wait at least a week.
So to ease the waiting I also went out and got some thing to help.
In fact, getting some of that help right now.
You will absolutely love your new computer! I saw the picture of the remote and it reminded me that my remote is not working right now. I have used it maybe 3-5 times in the last 6 months (since I got it), and it isn't working now. Does anyone know if there is a setting that I may have turned off, or does it possible need a new battery with such short usage?
P.S. That baconator looks gross

It's really nice. I wish the same thing. I wasn't into the band nearly as much as I am now when they were released though, so I can forgive myself.

The Pearl Jam boxset is really tempting me...
My father has the nitro version (Slayer) and it is an absolute riot to play with, but I live in a city where the noise would probably upset a few neighbors. The nice thing about the Slash is that it has waterproof electronics which will make a rainy day a little more enjoyable.
I just ordered a brushless motor and ESC to give me a little more durability and top end speed.

I just had to pay almost $200 CAD to get my PS3 repaired, because of SONY'S fault. The new firmware update made my PS3 unable to read any blu-ray media. Stupid.
This reminds me of the last time I had crutches. I got a fractured pelvis in the Army a few years ago, and my battle stole my crutches. She thought it'd be funny..... and actually, it was.
Spare crutches weren't hard to find around the barracks, so I went hobbling around on ones half my size for a while.

Hah thank you! I apparently have a severely sprained ankle, so I guess I'm gonna be hobbling on those things for a while.. hehe
