How's the Mac support for it?
I have it hooked up via the USB cable that come with it and it displays the battery percentage right next to my macbook battery in the upper right corner. It wont however tell you a estimated time tell fully charged or discharged but you can see that on the LCD anyways.
As far as support in the energy settings, it could be better. I can set "settings for" UPS but then when I click on the tab that says "UPS" in between the "Sleep" and "Options" tab everything is grayed out, it cant change any of the settings. All it shows is a green battery indicator. So these are really just nit picky things. All I can say is that I am very happy with it, especially for the price. I looked at some APC products and they were quite pricy, I thought. I'm sure you'll like it. One other thing that I'm amazed at is that I have TWO power strips hooked up to the UPS/Surge plugs on the back of the UPS and the power strips are all full, and according to the display that shows the over all usage its only at 20%-30%. I have my macbook, 3 external hd's, a external screen, lamp, cable modem, airport extreme, iphone/ipod chargers, speakers, a whole list of things hooked up that will still work if the power is out. And it will last a min of 30 mins...If I turn everything off and just have my internet stuff and macbook going I can easily get 80+mins out of it. Amazing!
