Maybe he couldn't stop himself from playing Gears of War right now?
Maybe he doesn't need the latest version of Windows when he knows it'll have bugs, as does every OS when it first comes out?
Maybe he needs Windows for work purposes and can't wait "a few months"?

Maybe he can answer for himself?

A new external hard drive for the wife. Her 500GB appears to be on its last minutes so this will go nicely. Amazing that it costs less than the 500GB/FW400/USB2.0 model did 4 years ago!

What crawled up your ass?

Okay, so why would you want any vehicle to be loud?

Don

Loud Vehicles are safer because pedestrians not only have to look for a moving object, but can hear it too, for example at places with curves. I like loud cars and hate new quiet cars for this reason....

Yes I can. Windows 7 won't hit the shelves for awhile. Not in a couple of months. Also, when it is released it will be buggy. I played with the beta and it worked pretty good. But Vista x64 SP1 is very stable and reliable when run correctly.

The same reason high schoolers (and immature college-ers) put huge subs in their car to rattle the lugnuts (and those around them):
Attention.

I have subs in my truck, but I turn the sound way down when around people (at stop lights, etc.) I definitely don't have them to get attention, I have them because bass is a crucial part of music (not overly loud, "lugnut" rattling bass, though, subtle and sharp bass)

But yes, I agree with your statement. Every rule has an exception, though.

Just ordered some new shoes:

I remember when I bought my laceless chucks. I picked up extra laces when I was at the register. SA didn't bother mentioning I didn't need them at all.

Gotta say I love that pair, specially when it looks more worn out.

Yea, I have a grey laced variant but love slip ons. I was looking to get the all black monochrome pair too but couldn't find them in my size

uhh....

*moves out of town*

Pardon me, but subs enhance the listening experience..... Or i havent grown up. But i <3 my Triple 15" Clarions :)

if you want to listen to high quality music do it at home.

a car is just a transportation thing. brings you from point a to b.

there is no need to waste your money in a $5k sound system etc.

i dont understand these fools who put 10k in afermarket parts in the car..
