just bought my first house. Drove by and took a pic of the sold sign :)

Congratulations. It must feel so good!

congrats!

I kind of miss renting to be honest! lol

2 years as a homeowner, I miss no property taxes and someone else fronting the bill when something breaks or when routine maintenance needs done!

Yeah, one of the reasons why I'm kind of iffy about owning a home. I know, its a stupid reason but I'm lazy. But I think that when I'm coupled for serious with someone (with marriage on the horizon) then I would definitely buy a house. Afterall, I'd have someone to help me fix things.

Thank you thank you. No matter the pains of owning, I can safely say I will not miss renting. I'm done with landlords. I also can't wait to sit out in MY yard, grillin, drinking a beer on a nice summer's day.

That is the best part of owning IMO. The land :) I can almost always be found in my yard grillin something with a cold beer during summer weekends.

Give me a grill, a Corona, some music, and I'll be the happiest guy on the planet.

Erm...about that. I accidentally threw mine away in a restaurant like 4 years ago. But I've got permanent wires behind my bottom front 6 teeth and my top front two so I should be good. :D

i have the same thing on my bottom front teeth, i always forget it's there lol.

How is that working out? Does that affect your speech at all?

the bottom wire hasn't affected my speech at all and like i said above i always forget it's there until i feel it with my tongue. :p i do have to wear a retainer for my top teeth though but only at night thank god.

hmm, all you would have to say to me is that to let me know that you are in fact, not married :D

no doubt that is the best part.

I even enjoy mowing and landscaping now b/c it's mine. I hated mowing my parents and anywhere i rented. Now I find myself browsing around Sears looking at lawn and garden equipment... oh the exciting life of a 25 yr old :D

Still waiting for my Canon EF 50mm f1.2L

Still praying UPS hasn't completely screwed me over. Please. Please, UPS Gods.

What does this even mean?

Ill tell you that I have no clue about photography, but its definitely something I want to get into. With that being said though, what makes that lens cost so much money?

Primarily build quality, lowest aperture and zoom. The combination of those.

If you see, his lens had f/1.2, which is _extremely_ good. That will cost him a leg and a testicle, at least.
