My last purchase was a sandwich from Schlotzky's and some beer. I've been trying to find one that I truly like, I haven't accomplished that yet.

If you are trying out beers, I dont know if they have Presidente in Atlanta, but I love that beer. I think its a good beer for someone who isnt a big beer drinker, like myself. I also like Mythos too, its a Greek beer.

A couple of new (or should that be old) games.

I'm refurbishing an office chair made in the 60s or 70s. It used to be sea foam green, so my wife reupholstered it in black leather while I sanded and painted the frame satin black.

Before:

My latest purchase were (4) casters for said chair:

And I got (5) of these for my normal everyday chair:

Both sets should work great in my carpeted office.

I'll post pictures of the chair once it's done.

Link to caster website.

I've decided to get back in to mountain biking after a 2 year hiatus. Sold my Heckler (too much bike for the trails I ride) so I am easing back into it with a Specialized Rockhopper Expert 29er

All depends what type of riding you want to do, and what your budget is. I used to do a lot of off-road/freeriding so know a bit about that sort of thing. Send me a PM if you ever need any help/opinion on a bike :)

Wow! 18 pages since the last time I checked in. Nice.

Just got this in the mail today: My new Ka-Bar knife (Father's Day)

Also make sure you get it from a real bike store, not from Wallyworld, so that they can ensure the bike fits you!

I'm getting married in January and since I've never been a home owner I decided it would only make sense to take advantage of the $8000 tax credit.

I haven't closed yet but my offer was accepted. The only thing that I'm not crazy about is the color of the siding but the inside is what really counts and it's perfect for a family.

EDIT: I splurged just a bit since I won't be buying much for a little while now

A few points so that I can pick up at least Geometry Wars 2 since that should keep my busy for a long time

I got hooked on her a few years ago and I am enjoying the latest album.

Yes! Thanks for posting this. A few months ago (January?) my local theatre ran her as the artist of the month. And they played a song of hers that I could not for the life of me remember the name of and soon I forgot her name as well. Glad I can find the song again lol. I get a little OCD when I can't remember songs...:D

I bought an iPod touch, a bunch of apps, and a Klimt Kiss Gelaskin.

Couldn't agree more. Plus, don't be afraid of asking questions and trying the bikes out. Generally, I've found that bike stores (at least the ones around me) are very helpful and try to sell you the bike you want rather than the bike they want to sell.

I love Regina. Her lyrics are quirky but majestic, and her voice is absolutely stunning. :)

Yup.

PS. People can say what they want. I DO taste a difference between German and Canadian Sprite!
*hint* Canadian > German */hint*
