Had a little fun...

Well, I found a great deal from a buddy online. Purchased their 15" late-2008 2.53GHz MBP, 4GBs RAM, 320GB HDD, and extra battery and speck case :D

Then, I plan on putting in the 128GB Kingston SSD drive I bought from a fellow user on these boards.

And finally, I ordered a new Booq case for said laptop. Because, you know, it's fun to have a new case for your new toy. :p

Just stock pictures for now. All of it should arrive by the end of the week!!!

It's really nice. I just bought this new amp last week (a 65amps Royal Albert) and It was time to step up the power supply, to better the quality)
Theherd1.jpg

I had been using a one spot to power my board, and it worked great, but I would get occasional hum. With the pedal power 2 having each output isolated from the next, its crazy how much of a difference that makes. Not to mention the ability to join two of them up to make 18 volts, (where as with any other power like t-rex fuel tank or DC brick, or 1Spot, which are all the same, power supplies in series, you would need two separate units to make the 18v).
It also has two trim pots to simulate a dying battery, something vintage and boutique pedals really like.

All in all, a great buy.

Sounds awesome, man. 65Amps are real nice, I like the SoHo. What kind of music do you play?

I was in the Apple Store in the Christina Mall in Delaware and I HAD to buy a 13" MBP to replace my aging 15" MBP. I got it for $1199 without Tax, but after I sold me 15" and the power cable, I had to get Apple World Travel Adapter Kit to get a UK plug for my power brick. Only to find that in my old 15" MBP box - there already was a UK adapter spare....

Sorry for the bad quality pic of the MBP - stupid iPhone 2G pic

Used BG-E2 grip for my 40D. Really transforms the feel of the camera:
I very rarely don't use my grip. Besides the additional battery power, it is pretty awesome feeling. Although I often don't use the vertical trigger as much, still even in portrait mode. For, say, baseball, I often use manual mode and adjust the focus points manually. Only regret I have about the vertical grip is the lack of a control stick on it.

Edit: Sadly the only EU iTunes account I have is in the German store, and so I had to settle on Movies that actually had English soundtracks. ;) Seemed like every movie I got really excited about, was only available in German...what the heck eh?

Anyway...have 2.27 Euro left.

Had to buy this. I drank one with a friend (not my bottle) not knowing they were $50 a pop. It really hurt me having to spend $50 on alcohol to buy a replacement bottle.

Cool! I have the same Tokina lens (Nikon F-mount). :) It has served me well over the years, particularly on vacation.

That is really good to hear because that is what I have in mind for its use - scenics and interesting vacational shots. So cheap too - I got a mint one second hand for just $300. It is coming tomorrow and will be a fixture on my d80 for a while!
