Exact situation for me. I've put money aside and always try to save up, even for a cheaper one (the one I have my eye on is about $650 after taxes), but something always comes out that's cheaper and faster to get, ie. games, food, computer parts.
 
First of all, today I got this:

And I also bought a new pair of Adidas 80's shoes, white leather with red details, new jeans, a belt and two sweaters. I'm reinventing myself. :p

I also bought a half-bottle of Australian Chardonnay for tonight. :)
 
I personally did not want to buy this, but it was going for $100 and since my brother has bought me a lot of games when I was younger, I picked it up for him. All in all, although not something I'll play a substantial amount, the drums are fun and more realistic and I plan on using them as a MIDI controller for some of my music.

I like blueberries and I like coffee, but there's certain combinations I won't try.
 
Some more cell phones for my obsession, a subway melt with a cookie :D and some new sony cans. too lazy for pics.
