I'm not getting this. For me it says £74.97. I'd buy a copy if it was only £45 just to see it, but don't know whether I'd stretch to 75..

It was a pre-order special in a 'once they've gone, they've gone' kind of way.

I got Win7 Home Premium 'E' (or is it 'N') for the same price.

All the retailers on here:
http://www.microsoft.com/uk/windows/buy/default.aspx

were selling it at the pre-release special price but they might have gone now. You might be too late but may be worth keeping your eye on them, (eBuyer had a deal of the day on Win7 Home Premium on the Saturday just gone).

My last 'big' purchase was an Airport Extreme Base Station, (but I might have to cancel the order as my car needs a new gearbox, ouch!).

Thats why I rent games. I beat SP games far too quickly.

Yeah, I guess I never got into renting games because then I feel like I *need* to play the game in X days otherwise its a waste of $ because I need to renew it. Here I paid $23 for it new, let it sit for a week or so, decided I had enough time to play it, sat down for a few hours at a time and thats it. Plus I can kick up the difficulty I guess and give it another go. There are a bunch of hidden items on each level that I could search out which I may very well do.

I never buy games when they are released either, I wait until they get down to ~$30 then buy it. I refuse to pay $60 for any game, besides Grand Theft Auto: 4 because I was actually eagerly anticipating that game.

Bought 2 enclosures and 4 HDDs recently; the big one was purchased last night:

Expensive.

Is your best bet/most cost effective method for an external HD to buy and internal for less and put it into an enclosure?

Well if if you buy the same configuration from G-Tech (at least for the RAID external), it would be $600 for the 3TB version, so expect at least $800 for 4TB.

With that in mind, I only spent about $550. It's still a lot, but that's what happens when you buy new technology.

I think it's cost effective; sometimes it's easier just to buy the external HDD models and often they cost may only $20 more, so it's not worth hassling yourself over it.

In my case, it was of 2 things:
1) This configuration isn't offered.
2) It's cheaper this way.

Expensive.

It is good value.

Just ordered Will & Grace Season 7 and The Coneheads on DVD last night.

I have owned W&G 1-6 and 8 forever, it has been killing me that I was missing the 7th.

And I stopped at Best Buy just before that and bought the Jurassic Park Adventure Pack (the whole trilogy).

I also just received my Logitech Z-4 speaker system from my computer system just last week. :p

It works fine, in season. You can't use these in freezing weather, the enzymes don't function once the weather falls to about 38ºF.

This is my second purchase. My son broke the lid on the first one, and boy did that make a stink. ;)

I bet it did! :)

I figured as much regarding the cooler weather and the treatment process. As long as it keeps any problems involving the olfactory system at bay, I'm sure my sister will buy it.

Just bought a refurbished 1.83GHz 1GB 80GB HD Intel Mac Mini for a friend of a friend who is a priest in Haiti. It cost $435 with California's expensive sales tax, but still the best deal I could find for him. He wanted something to replace his PC, that was good for average use and wouldn't break the bank.

Cute car, probably along with the mk1 Focus, my favourite Ford.

and a sweet Fumoto quick drain valve (I change my own oil).

How does this valve work? Just replaces the Oil drain plug? If so I want to get me one of those!

not really a watch company
You could say the same about Casio, but hey ;) They are both nice watches, Armani ones do tend to be in the £250-£500 price range, but they are nice looking watches.
