Bought a bumper on ebay to replace the cracked one. I paid £35 because its a colour match and comes off of a car the same age as mine, so I won't need to get it sprayed.

Picking it up on Thursday, then will make the cut outs for the exhaust and fit the bumper.

Same guy, just he posted after.

Anyway, another purchase, 4 15" alloys to replace the tired 17" ones on the car at the moment. The tires are all legal and have a few months life in them and hopefully I'll be able to pick them up tomorrow.

Only £60!

VESA mount for my 23" to finally have matching 23" ACDs, both on articulating desk mounts. New pic will be in the setups thread.

Craigslist?

I'm looking for some 4 lug chrome 18" for my car.

Why do most of the Hackintoshes I've seen have such absurdly terrible graphics cards in them?
Because you haven't seen many? Most people buy whatever video card suits their needs.

The better cards aren't that much more expensive (8800GTs can be had for <$100 these days, 4870s for ~$120)
$100-$120 vs $20-$40= not that much more expensive?

Want to play CoD4? Play 1080p video without bogging down your CPU?
#1, many people:"no" and #2, the 8400GS and other cheap cards can handle 1080p video- unless its for an HTPC, who cares?

New phone so my iPhone doesn't get damages during the summer...and some nerf guns

Samsung LN40A750

Just bought this beauty at Best Buy last night. Open Box (without a stand, but ordered through www.samsungparts.com and will be here soon.) but still with its warranty and everything.

It's absolutely beautiful and I'll have to post a picture when we get it all set up. My list of "to buy" things is getting smaller. Still gotta convince the wife that we need a Blu-ray player and a full 7.1 system. :)

You can see the beauty sitting on the new loveseat for now and you can also see the old clunky it's replacing! :D About time, right?!

Needed some new eyeglasses! My old frames were 3 yrs old and starting to fall apart. After shopping 5 different stores, picked up these Oakley frames w/anti-reflective lenses. These lenses are awesome! Love the frames too.

I have the same frames in black, they are a little heavy on the nose but I
like them.

I have had a LN40A650 for a few months now. An absolutely great TV. You MUST get blu-ray for it.

I'm curious how the glasses without the ear-hook works out? Because wouldn't it fall off?

Those are usually "tight" enough to hold the glass frames onto your face. If you're scared that it will fall off, you can always look for similar kinds of frames with those "spring" hinges. Those will be even "tighter," thus ensuring less chances of the glass frames "falling off." Furthermore, you should also be able to purchase those "hooks" from your optical store to attach it onto the end of both "ear frames." This will ensure you have a similar "hook" like on those traditional glass frames.

That's what I thought, but they do have a slight spring that helps them hug your face. I had to adjust them slightly, as after a few hours they started hurting a little, just above the ears. Hopefully I'll get used to that, or else I'll have to take them back. I really want to keep them tho, as I love everything else about them.

Sold my Macbook Air Rev. B and bought a 13" MBP

WAYYY better! I hated my Macbook Air, and the battery life on this thing is incredible. Getting 4-6 hours instead 2-3.

And I was about to buy new tires for my 2008 Honda Civic Si until I crashed it, so my other "purchase" was my $500 deductible to take care of the $13k in damage. Oops. New tires included though! Just thought I'd share that one.
