It looks like that mouse has an LED but it could be just the sun shining?
pic from gizmodo, they also stated the mouse only works with the iMacs??

I will be shocked if it only works with iMacs. Likewise, I don't want lights on my mouse.

Nah, the specs stated on Apple's site said the requirements were Macs with bluetooth connectivity. I can't imagine Apple releasing a product that is stuck to only one type of computer, makes no sense.

^ I can believe they would do it. Look at them with their LED ACD. But really, it's just a mouse, a $70 mouse, but a mouse all the same. It should work with any mac that has BT capability and some multi-touch support.

Kinda sucks my Apple store wont have the Magic Mouse till next week. I wanted to stop by and try it out today.

What you have probably failed to observe, is that the iMacs ARE in stock @ Apple stores, and guess what they come with... Magic mouse!.

Why do you think they would? All it would do is handicap sales because dramatically less people will buy it. I BELIEVE the Macbook has been their best selling computer since it was introduced, you would think their new special mouse would at least tailor to that market.

seems like people are more likely to buy the magic mouse immediately:p

People are likely to buy anything shiny that says "Apple" :apple:

Right now all I want is the Littman Cardiology III, blacked out with my name.

Best scope for the $$, heck any Littman is high quality. Be prepared to chain it to your belt hough, we've had a couple of our doc's disappear off the unit. Everyone knows they are the cats pajamas lol.
I prefer the stainless bell/diaphragm and tubes over the black though, just accents it I think

"So far the Magic Mouse is only compatible with the iMacs that they ship with, but will get broad support soon."

They just added "but will get broad support soon".

Great spending day! The one negative about your post is the iPhone getting stolen. F'ng punks man...I HATE thieves! I wish there was a way where you can send a signal to the phone, and it would self-destruct, like in Mission Impossible :D

It's called "remote wipe" ;).

Perhaps because the iMacs ship with the updated OS version that is pending release for existing Macs? I'd imagine the update will release before the first mice are scheduled for delivery..

Edit: Obv not true because we would have heard about them running updated OS version.

Thats the one I have now. Grey rubber, silver / stainless ear pieces and diaphragm.

Didn't know blackout was an option, the dealer didn't bring it up. I bought the grey thinking it wouldn't be as common so I could spot it if it walked away. The black I think would stand out even more.

Maybe a grad present. Already had to buy a 2nd scope because the one I had, a Littman Classic II SE wasn't what the program wanted. Oh well.

I have heard bad things about that drive. A lot of people have had drive failures with in months of purchase. I was about to pick one up at Costco but then I looked up the reviews on Costco's own website. Edit: it might be the USB2.0 version only.

Here is the link to the Costco one that sells for $139.99 http://www.costco.com/Browse/Produc...=2&Ntx=mode+matchallpartial&Nty=1&topnav=&s=1
