Well la dee dah. Thanks for ruining my moment. :p

I was shocked enough that I got it for $26 plus shipping, but to get it for $16 is just nutty. Best Buy, Target, etc. charge closer to $120 for practically the same thing.

Lol. Sorry. I agree, retail price for those is almost as dumb as the markup on HDMI cables. I really like the mount. I actually bought two of them and have yet to install the one in our bedroom. Christmas vacation has made me lazy.

Nice to hear you're happy with it. I hope mine will be delivered by the end of the week.

I'm planning on mounting it above the fireplace in our living room. We're moving to a new place tomorrow (packing friggin' suuuuuucks), and the 40" flat screen will look hot on the wall.

Just got back from Miromar Outlets in Florida. My brother and I split $60 with a Buy 1 get 1 free sale at Sunglasses Hat. They are Electric Gauge Sunglasses. I really wanted to get some Spy ones but they were $100 and I didn't have the money. :(

Oo, didn't realize is was already the 22nd! Hopefully picking that up soon

Get it from Target. $14.99 for the blu-ray after $5 blu-ray coupon. Plus you can get it for $12.50 there after a Wal-Mart price-match and the $5 coupon, but I didn't go through the hassle.

Just got my Mac Mini today. Got rid of my macbook pro for it, as I needed a desktop solution and already had a 23" 1080p monitor. It's sweet! I installed a 7200 WD Scorpio in it. Going to sell the 160 gig one that I pulled out. It's pretty amazing how powerful these little buggers are. The 7200 rpm drive makes a world of difference. My old MBP was a 2.26ghz, just like the mini. Same specs, but the mini is faster with the 7200. Next I am going to buy an 8 gig ram kit.. =) I do a lot of Photoshop work in school.

Anyways, I love it. Thanks Apple, and Western Digital! Great products! Oh and Best Buy.. they rock. scored the drive for a little over 60$!! They had it on the shelf for around 60-65 bucks, as a mis-tag, so they had to sell it at that price. I got out to the car and saw that they charged me 129$.. My wife noticed it, "Wasn't it on the shelf for 65$?" So she went back in and came out with like 50 bucks cash. Also bought a Apple Wireless Keyboard. It's amazing how far they can go !

Bought a Sandisk Extreme 16GB from Best Buy on Sunday for $135 for a shoot. The two <10 minute drive Best Buys would not price match Calumet (Which is roughly a 40 minute drive, tops, but closed on Sunday. Best Buy was trying to charge $280 for the card, and they were serious about the price...). Since Calumet was closed on Sunday I had to drive nearly an hour to get to a Best Buy that was "local" (Within 10 miles), I called beforehand to make sure that they would price match it, of course.

Once I got to that Best Buy I showed them the web page from Calumet, the employee stated that they had never even heard of them and had to talk to their manager. Then they said that they would have to call to make sure that they had it in stock (Even though it said "In Stock" on Calumet's website  ). To which they found that they were closed on Sundays, I then informed them that was the reason why I was buying from them in the first place. The manager said that he couldn't price match without confirmation that it was in stock. I informed them that I had talked to an employee before I made the hour drive just to confirm beforehand that they would price match.

That lead to about a 45 minute dispute between myself and the manager, at the end I got the card for the price that I wanted. But seriously, first Best Buy won't price match a company that is local in Southern California, then they make me drive an hour to a Best Buy "local" to Calumet and then they make me dispute with the manager over the price. I would not recommend them to anyone. I ended up being late to my shoot. But anyway, I bought the Sandisk Extreme 16GB, awesome card despite the circumstances.

Aww man that sucks! At least you got it for that price though! 45 mins of haggling sucks though. Sorry your Best Buy experience this week wasn't as good as mine, though I bet your satisfied with that bad-ass card! 16gb! Nice!

Yeah, the card is pretty nice. It keeps up with the 7D's burst rate and HD video quite nicely. (The 7D is another recent purchase, although thankfully not from Best Buy) The intelligence of the employees and managers at every Best Buy location that I visited was very sadly lacking. (I hope they buy the cards for more than I paid for it :p) I'm probably going to end up getting another of the same card though, although my order will be from Calumet this time. I need a bit more space and am going to be retiring two of my older compact flash cards.

I filled up the new card and subsequently my line of 3 Extreme III cards. (Which are the newer 30MB/sec, but pale in comparison to the Extreme 60MB/sec) After that I was forced to use older cards, after I filled up the buffer on the 7D, it took ages to write the images to the card. I lost a sizable amount of great photos due to that, which means that those cards have their days numbered.
