I have far too many DVD's .... but what I want to know is are Blu-ray's that much better?

By far. When you first get an HDTV, you realize all you want to watch are the HD channels instead of SD because they look so much better. Well, it's the same thing on disc. Once you go blu, you don't go back!

Very true. The scary thing about going Blu Ray is the moment when you start replacing your DVD collection with the Blu Ray equivalent, then realise that everyone else is moving to Blu Ray and that your DVD collection is worth pennies... but buying the Blu Ray anyway

the new 70-200 II looks very good but its gonna be a good amount of $$ more expansivo. lol. The current 70-200 is everything I wished for from that lens, thats why I got it now with the rebates ^^
