Just arrived in the mail today, 1 week on the road, not bad considering that it had to arrive then be shipped out to me here in the frozen north where you greedy americans don't want us to have nooks!

Second copy of Freakonomics. I let a friend borrow it and never got it back. I hate not having copies of books i've read.

Just ordered an enclosure for 10 bucks off ebay for a 3.5 inch 320 gig 7200rpm hitachi that was delivered last week. External storage via USB for my Macbook. When I get a new MBP I will upgrade the enclosure to firewire. : )
Should be decent fast storage for time machine and itunes.

I have a 5400 RPM and 7200 RPM MyBook.. and I made the mistake of accidentally putting my music and movie collection on the 5400 RPM one. Funny how I actually notice the difference.

I'm contemplating starting over and moving at least the music to the other drive, since it's completely empty at the moment.

My new camera arrived yesterday. I got the Panasonic Lumix GF1 with the 20mm/F1.7 lens. I'm very excited about it. I've never had a camera of this caliber, so it should be fun to really learn. I've been wanting to get a DSLR-type camera for some time, but just didn't want something that big. When these new Micro 4/3 cameras came out, I knew that was it.

I could have taken a pic of it with my iPhone, but that just didn't seem like it would do it justice, so here is a stock photo of it, and then the box taken with the actual camera :D
