Oh come on, don't even start with that. I have both a 360 and PS3, so I'm by no means a fanboy, but I feel the 360 is more a GAME console and the PS3 is more a media console. They both have their ups and downs with exclusives, but it's been a common occurrence that when a title does release on both consoles, it's either later on the PS3 or comes with a bunch of bugs and glitches.

So I'll take my QUALITY games with the teenager any day of the week.

It's just my own opinion.. I have not had any bugs or problems with mine yet i see many have had the ring of death on their 360's.

IMO the PS3 Slim is the best console investment. I love mine, and I'm very happy I got it over a 360 (not that the 360 is bad) I just love the PS3's controller way more. I feel like the PS3 is more of an "Adult" gaming console then the "Teenager" 360 lol
It's hard to take you seriously when all sentences end in "lol".

I disagree with your statement though. I find the 360 to be a more superior gaming console even with the RROD

That is a good point really.

My last purchase ... well the other day really.

No need to get into an argument on which console is better. I own both and I think their both great. Each console may appeal to a certain gamer for a particular reason. While I do agree that the PS3 is generally better in terms of hardware reliability my PS3 has gotten the YLOD twice and had the BD drive replaced. It was constantly cleaned and kept in a well ventilated area. It seems like quite a few of the early PS3's have this problem but no where near the scale of RROD. Happy to have the Slim and glad my 60GB still works after the fix.

No arguments here, just a mere discussion fueled by opinions.

And yeah, you can bring up the RROD, but don't forget to mention the YLOD and the drive failures. Although not on a grand scale as the 360 (though the 360 was out a year earlier), at least Microsoft manned up and said that you get an additional 3 years of warranty if your Xbox RROD.

I had an original launch console, and it happened to suffer from the RROD just after the 1 year manufacturers warranty was up. Felt good when I called Xbox and they said they'd fix/replace, whilst adding another 3 years onto the date it returned to me fixed.

Some have had the opportunity to have their PS3's fixed free of charge, but many others have had to pay, and furthermore, Sony now offers a paid warranty coverage.

Even with the failures, I'll take me an Xbox with free warranty over a PS3 with a high potential of a pay-to-fix issue.

A random piece of wall art from BB&B. I don't usually buy things like this from large chain stores, but it matched perfectly and was the perfect size for the area

I just added another line to my AT&T account. That's $10 for the additional line and then $65 for the data.

Now I can use my iPad anywhere in the world (unlimited international data)! Now all they need to do is add Skype with 3G calling and I'm in good hands.

I just bought this same one at Target $40. It's supposed to be pulling the hot air from my office, it's not working well. :(

Yup, that's where I got mine from. I haven't used it on exhaust yet.. but the intake is pretty badass. I felt like I had an AC running.

I HATE using AC, but it's necessary sometimes. Hopefully I can get by with this for most of the summer. If so, I will be oh so happy.

How do you manage to stay cool when you're so hot? :D

It was 91 here and my office is 80-85. The intake only takes in hot ass air. :( I have to still run the air unfortunately.

How is the Hitachi hard drive in your MBP as far as noise and heat? Where did you get it from? Newegg?

That's cool. How did you work it so you have unlimited international data? I thought it wasn't possible through AT&T and their rates were really high.

Did you do this online?

Thanks

It's great. I haven't noticed any more heat than my original one (maybe even less heat) and it is pretty silent I have to put my ear next to it to hear anything sometimes. There is also almost zero vibration too.

Yeah I got it from newegg.
