Just ordered a 16gb wifi iPad (I hope I don't regret not getting 3g), time to see what everyone is raving about. Unfortunately it probably won't ship for a week.

No local Apple store?

I called and they didn't have any in stock and they also informed me I couldn't use an Apple gift card (completely bogus if you ask me). Ordering through the Apple store online it let me use my gift card, so that was the main motive.

My iPad has got me back into reading again, I like it for reading but its no Kindle. So iPad for multimedia and Kindle for books.

Plus its so much lighter and easier to transport on my push bike that I ride to work.

Do any of you guys also like the kindle and the eInk screen

I don't have a Kindle, but I do have the Sony version with the e-ink screen. It got me back into reading books again. The e-ink screen I think is much easier on the eyes and doesn't cause an eye strain even if I've been reading for more than an hour or so.

I got the black version of these but it snapped on the one side so i got a replacement and it did the same thing, the 2 best buys I went into had them and they snapped too, which seems to be common on this model so I ended getting the Bose ones. Id be careful.
