Just picked up one of these for $150.00. I like to buy them overtime it helps me save up for a big ticket item. I'm sort of an impulse buyer and cash burns holes in my pocket:D

That's not a bad idea. I'm an impulse buyer too. I bought a 23" LG Monitor on Friday when I really wanted the Apple 24" Cinema Display. Turns out the LG Monitor was horrible (go figure ) so I returned it and I'm going back to buying the ACD. I might use your idea though so I don't spend the money on something else while I'm saving up.

I had a Potvin jersey as well. Goalie is my favourite position to watch (if that makes sense). People thought he was overrated, but actually, I thought he got a bad deal. One season, he faced more shots in a season than any goalie in NHL history (!!), and he only let in 3+ goals per game. I know that wasn't a great GAA in the "Trap" years of defense, but he did what he could. Same with Joseph, and same with Belfour.

Le Chat was awesome....

A friend of mine was the biggest Potvin fan- he not only had his jersey, but he also had a goalie mask custom painted to look like Potvin's. He played goalie.... and actually, his nickname was Goalie.

I loved all three of those goalies.... they were big-save money goalies.

Maybe we need a 1992-94 Toronto Maple Leafs thread around here....:p

First time going, nervous about the smell of the place :p

With the big expansion on the horizon, it should be a huge event. But yeah, there could be a lot of personal hygiene issues there. I worked LinuxWorld one year a few years back at the Moscone, and it was interesting. A lot of suits. And a lot of not. A pretty widely split crowd, the only people dressed casually, were the ones working there. :D

I think there are doctors that just write perscriptions for weed as long as you have cash. No legit illness needed, but i think its only cali and denver that medical is legal.

I've got PTSD and chronic back pain from my two tours in iraq and the rest of the years I was in the military. I was on various anti depressants for my ptsd and pain meds for my back. I didn't want to take pills like prozac anymore so I decided to try med marijuana.

what disease is the marijuana aiming for? How hard it is to get a prescription if you don't actually need it?

if you have a medical record, its not hard to get a prescription. I have a thick medical record from being in the military so it wasn't a problem for me.

Just bought a new mp3 player, and I love it. Also got Daybreakers. That was one nifty movie! I loved the artistic visuals and the so-so storyline. The capri tights are for the wife to wear with her 5 or 6" heels : )

Maybe you could explain something to me. How exactly can a book look good?

So because it has a cute cover it must be good? Oh my..

Maybe you can hold back your snarky pretentious comments and not assume I didn't look that book up online to see what it was even about.
Based on the following I wrote that comment:
http://www.amazon.com/Eats-Shoots-Leaves-Tolerance-Punctuation/dp/1592400876
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Eats,_Shoots_&_Leaves

Although explaining to you that people may actually check things out online before they make such comments may be similar to me arguing with a piece of tree bark.

If you'd like to go tear apart any other posts please do so but never assume anything about me, you'll always wind up losing.

Why didn't zen.state just come out with the old adage....

Anyway, this book does look good. I can't wait for when/if apple decides to let people lend to their friends through iBooks....

Either way, the kid assumes I looked at the cute cover and said OOOOH PRETTY! I LOVE! I'm far too old to judge a book by it's cover, literally. The kid doesn't realize it takes 10 seconds to search google about the book and about 10 minutes to read about it in the two links I provided. I think he was hoping his pretentious comment would somehow lend him to be seen as someone who is obviously above it all. Unfortunately, he doesn't get to do that with me, at least.

I was not being pretentious. I did not insult you. I simply do not understand how a book looks good is all. A little overly sensitive maybe?

Maybe you need a valium. :) *joke*
