There we go, I never knew the album was so different in the US.
No mine is an original copy as bought by my father when it came out. Are you sure those linked sales are originals? I've definitely seen copies identical to mine go for significant amounts of money...
They are originals. You've got to remember there was well over a million copies sold in the first few weeks it went on sale and in 1966 the Mono version was the normal version because only the wealthy owned "stereograms". Interestingly, The Beatles and George Martin were always present at the mixing of the mono recordings, the stereo mixes were left to the junior engineers because they weren't considered to be very important.
The big money goes for mint condition (which are new and never been played) or near mint condition copies which are basically as brand new but have been played before. There are a lot of Beatles collectors in the States so obviously the American market will pay more for perfect original UK copies.
Those copies for sale on that site are mostly in VG conditions which means they are not scratched and play perfectly but have slight areas of wear and tear on the covers, which even the most cherished of 44 year old albums will probably have. If you are lucky and yours is in NM condition, you'll get 2 or 3 times as much for it depending on the rarity.
