I just picked up an AC Ryan PlayOn!HD, which is replacing my dead appleTV. So far this thing is great. It plays pretty much every format you can throw at it.
I also stuck in a Western Digital Caviar Green 1TB disk for local storage. :D

Just got mine today and I love it! :D Much much better than older models imo (Oh, excluding the antenna :p)

I finally got into a store and played around with it. I agree with you - this thing is designed beautifully...much better than previous models - besides the antenna haha.

Going to the store to pick this up today just because I am curious. Hate the magic mouse. Maybe this will be a cool thing to have. Hope it is in the stores.

First ever books for college (Biochem major)

I had that same book for Calculus I, II, and III and it's horribly written - confusing language, although, the problems are pretty good but a bit too easy in my experience. One of the authors actually teach at my school and while he may be a good teacher, the explanations in the book was unnecessarily lengthy and formal. Make sure you get the answer book because that actually helped a lot ;)

Got tired of my first iP4 case (kept peeling up the edges of my damn Zagg shield), so I returned it and got this:

For the time being, anyways. I really like it! Doesn't seem to offer much protection, but it's pretty sexy.

A Breedlove Atlas Series N250 CR classical guitar.

Ran me a pretty $900 or so, but it's a beautiful piece.

It was either this or an iPad, but I figure I can always wait to get an iPad... I'm probably going to sell my MBP to fund it, and I can always pick one up used, or wait for the next price drop/revision. Plus I'm getting the new iPhone once it appears on Canadian soil.

Also bought a Sony Ericsson W760 for the girlfriend, as her current phone is dying.

I gotta stop spending money! :(

Got Sniper for Xbox a few days ago, but still haven't even taken it out of the plastic wrap yet.

Also picked up..

Tritton AX180's for playing MW2 online like a nerd:

This case for my iPad that I do not like one bit:

I'll sell this for $30 including shipping to whoever wants it. It was $55 plus tax in the store. (If i'm not allowed to do this, I apologize)

And this for my MBP but I can't seem to bring myself to actually put it on.. it's still in the packaging.. I just love the way the mbp looks naked:

I'll sell this too if anyone wants it.. same.. $30 including shipping. It was like $43+tax in the store.

Ughhh that is beautiful. I've always loved Breedloves, but i've never actually owned one.

I've been thinking about picking up a classical guitar, but haven't gotten around to it yet.

Do you play classical style music or did you just pick this up for fun?

:D

That's really a nice looking nylon string, congrats!

Thanks you two!

I've never owned a Breedlove either. It was between this and a Cort which was half the price. My acoustic-electric is a Cort, and they're fantastic guitars with great value. I think my acoustic (Sasha) was about $700 when I got her in Shanghai; she's all solid, flame maple back and front and light maple sides. As for the classicals I was looking at, The Cort was easier to play, but wasn't nearly as nicely constructed, and the tone was brighter, but lacked life. I love the smooth matte finish of the Breedlove. Although the sides and back are rosewood laminate the thing is really heavy. Which means a warm, deep and mellow smooth tone which I love.

I don't play classical style, which is actually why I was looking at this guitar in particular. I fingerpick lots of jazzy/RnB style stuff, and sing, which is why I got it. It's got a nice cutout, a curved fretboard (which is essential for me; I owned a flatboard classical a couple years ago and absolutely hated it) and a narrow neck. Not quite as narrow as the Cort, but narrow enough to be way more comfortable than a traditional nylon string. You can strum and wail on this thing like it's a blues guitar or gently soothe it like it's a cello. The highs aren't nearly as bright as my maple-bodied Sasha, but that's not the point of the guitar. While Sasha's meant to be lively and versatile, my new Breedlove (still unnamed) is meant to be deep-voiced and suave.

Name suggestions? :) I'd prefer female names, to be honest. My bike is named Scarlett. "Sofia" is out of the question; she was a silent-string Yamaha SLG100S I once owned; I'd hate to tarnish her memory by using her name again. :p
