I want to get one of these...I heard they have a hd version as well

Crappy wide angle, Pay $50 more, get a Canon Powershot 780 IS, Much nicer with much more control..

Plus if you have a MacBook, Flipvideos aren't too useful anyway because the Mac's are too thin.

Trust me, I've gone through two, One standard one HD.

Ordered a pair of meyle HD control arms / bushings for the bimmer. I suspect they haven't been changed since purchase. That, coupled with the ABSOLUTELY HORRID Louisiana roads, they need to be changed.

Good call on changing those out. I changed mine a couple of months ago with powerflex bushings and a new lowered suspension from H&R and Bilstine. Went on an E46

Just received my first messenger bag. Incase medium(15inch MBP) messenger bag. I have the 13" MBP but I'm a bigger guy and thought the small messenger bag would look funny on me. Plus I'm loving all of the extra room! Also in my opinion the build quality is very good for the price. It was either this or a custom Timbuk 2 and I choose incase because it was about 100 bucks cheaper.

ahhaha! Nice. K I got the bag, well that one that came with my kit. I also got the Canon backpack. I plan on getting the 50mm like in a week or two. Got muslin backdrops + frames, and umbrella lighting off Amazon for a few hundred. I have a tripod.. it isn't expensive but it's old and pretty sturdy and well built. Unsure of the brand.

I also want a battery grip/spare battery too. Yah for sure, will see you in the POTD tomorrow I think. Just got back from a two hour hike around town and the university here. And Denny's. ahhaa! Took some pretty decent night shots. I was impressed with the Canon. I really want that 70-200 too....

Oh and Denny's has these new... Pancake Puppies... ohmygod.

I am jealous! I have wanted a nice Canon SLR for a long time now. Nice setup. :) Do you mind if I ask where you bought the package? I've seen some nice prices on packages that come with a bag, extra lense, extra battery, etc.

Oh...my latest purchase is my MBP 13". It's my first Mac. :D

I got it from a local store on credit, but I still owe like half on it. Payments are cheap, 60$ every two weeks. I'm paying it off pretty quick from income from ebay and from freelance work I do here in town. It's so worth it to get a dslr especially if you have business aspirations for it. Even for a hobby it's great. It just happened to be where my degree is really headed, and I was outgrowing and getting pissed off at my point and shoot. : )

When you get a good lens camera, and really start to use it it feels awesome. The place I got it from bundled it with the bag, and a 2gb memory card. I already had a 4gb one and a tripod so I am set for a moment. Just need some lenses now.

Nice on your purchase of a new MBP! I am still on my old late 08 almunium Macbook. I slapped a SSD in it though so it goes pretty fast.

I thought about going Powerflex, but the kit came with Meyle HD bushings.

Put pictures of your E46 on the "Post your car" thread!

New York, Baby!
bought this iPhone 3G 16GB and incase Slider from a coworker for a good price. He recently went to a 4G and didn't need it, I sold my N900 and wanted to go back to an iPhone (just without spending £500 on it).

The case makes it feel a little more like a 2G (which I prefer) but the main good thing with this vs the 2G is the fact the speaker MAKES SOUND!
