I've just ordered some tickets to see Fun Lovin' Criminals and then downloaded their latest album from iTunes for a Schmoove afternoon!

Amazon-Kindle2.jpg

Partial purchase. My brother and I purchased it for my sister for her birthday. It's a refurb directly from Amazon warehouse (many claim they come in original packaging and look like new) and it was only $110. I'm sure a better one will be out soon but at $110 it will do a better job than the Kobo reader she returned.

$110? That's very good.

I'm sure it's good and I don't want to be seen as a jerk, but that's because it is sweetened. Three different sweeteners, in fact.

Per Amazon's ingredient listing:
Acesulfame Potassium (Artificial sweetener)
Maltodextrin (not technically a sugar, but gets absorbed as quickly as glucose and adds a sweet taste)
Sucralose (Splenda)

Or maybe you were being ironic since you know it has sugar in it and you don't believe in sugared teas? Who knows :)

That's the iced tea mix.

I bought the actual tea bags to brew myself.

Ingredients:
Green Tea, Hibiscus, Natural Pomegranate and Acia Flavors With Other Natural Flavor (Soy Lecithin), Citric Acid, Licorice Root, Panax Ginseng, Apple

Bought a few things for my upcoming backpacking trip to go along with my Gregory Baltoro 70.

Just got these for 30 bucks.. THey haven't come in but does anybody have them and have any feedback about em?

Looks like the same i bought at the airport a few weeks ago because i discovered that my AKGs were broken just as i was about to go out the door..

They are.. well.. you get what you pay for. Some noise cancelling, but you still hear a lot of background noise. And there is virtually no bass, but the audio quality is ok..

Huzzah! My geeky prints arrived. The Donkey Kong ones are "lino cut prints" (whatever that means...) while the Resident Evil 4 one is a print on canvas.

Off to get them framed up.

FYI: A "lino cut" is a art piece made where a piece of linoleum has either a positive or negative image "cut" out of it using tools called gouges, basically everything that is white in those images was cut away from the lino leaving a backing. Then the raised areas remaining on the "lino" is "inked" with hard rubber roller covered in ink, then a piece of paper is laid on top the inked lino cut and the paper is rolled over with a clean hard rubber roller transferring the ink from the lino cut to the paper. It's been over 30-years since I did lino cuts in Art Class so I may be a little off on a few of the details, but that's the gist of a lino cut.

Finally settled on boring black.

I figure it goes with everything, and if I want to resell it or give to my bf, it will go fast.

Looking forward to getting it though! Going to be a nice travel bag to hold the mbp and the dslr.

Good memory :D Thanks! You learn something new every day.

Cancelled my 24-105mm F4 order, opted for the bigger aperature on the 24-70mm F2.8.

Good decision.

I remember doing that. I would always cut myself with the chisels.
