Picked up LBP2 and a new controller. And some pistachios, but they're pretty much half-gone already, and nobody wants to see that.

^^ love that controller. I have been wanting a white one, but really it's only for my vanity haha.

27" Famous Maker (HP, unbranded) Monitor from Woot :)

Damn my friend for tempting me to buy it, but I've been long due for a new monitor anyway.

I would be tempted as well... but 27" is too gigantor for my desk!

Just picked up a 6 cell generic battery for my hp mini off of amazon. Hope it comes in time for my 7 hour flight back from San Jose to Baltimore! Needs to watch my movies!
Kind of kills the sleekness of the mini, but for a 4-5 hour battery life..whatever

Fantastic Lens even on a crop body, had the opportunity to shoot with it for about two weeks across Europe, makes me resent my lowly 24-85 :D

Yeah I tried it out on a 60D in the camera shop nearby and I liked it immediately on a crop. My camera is a 7D (just arrived, actually) so I'm looking forward to using it. I've read that on a crop, it's a great focal length.

...SUPER JEALOUS! Right now I'm really enjoying my Canon EF 70-200mm f/2.8 L IS USM Lens with the my old and trusty Canon 50D :)

Enjoy your beautiful lens! :)

Thanks! I've learned (the hard way) that I should have never sold any of my bodies and just kept improving the quality of my lenses. I had a 24-105L on the last 7D I had and I absolutely adored that lens, but I always found it not quite wide enough. I am hoping this one is better.

How do you like it and where did you order it from?

I'm not the OP but I have one as well for an external monitor setup and it works really well. Matches the mbp and very sturdy. You can somewhat type on it but don't expect to type on it exculsively - you will need a keyboard. Otherwise, it's highly recommanded! :D I got my from Amazon - prime FTW

Unfortunately these things only last a couple to several months. I should know. I've used up like 3-4 in the past year! :(

Doesn't seem very mighty to me.

I've been using the same Gucci wallet and Coach money clip/card wallet combo for years now. They still look great....probably because they're leather.

I bought 50 more of these from Amazon:

And a bag of this from a Japanese grocery store:

I only kept using them because after purchasing a single one and using it for a while, I subsequently began to receive all of the other designs as small gifts. I literally received like 3 of them from friends in a 6-month period.

This morning I switched back to my 5-year-old leather wallet though, which looks just as good as the day I bought it; just softer. Only problem is it's about 50% thicker than a Mighty Wallet holding the same amount of stuff. I wish I could just carry around a card wallet and money clip, but I think that's saved for the gainfully employed. :p I still find myself carrying around reward cards and student discount cards, for goodness sake. Sigh.

The Logitech Performance MX. I have been using the Magic Mouse for a couple of months now and after seeing this mouse in-store im sure that it will be a huge upgrade over the Magic mouse. The Magic mouse is just too un-ergonomic for my liking and the Logitech is a very ergonomic mouse fits very comfortably in the palm of your hand and it also has a bunch of programmable buttons which will be useful. I look forward to using it.
