Sold my car sound system and bought an Epson 1400 + Black Ink

Most likely going to return these Powerbeats by Dre that are killing my ears, and buy the color ink pack.

Ha sound like me...typical college student. I've been selling stuff and have returned about 4 things in the past week because they all sucked!

Agreed. I had some cash left over and been meaning to look into remote earbuds since my stock apple ones died and I didn't want to purchase those again. Fell into the marketing scheme a little bit by the Dre's, but I wanted buds that wrapped around the ears since in ears are difficult for me to keep steady.

Found some Phillips for $50, so I'm going to get my $162 back in a few hours.

I don't think this is indicative of a college student. I think it's smart to return things that aren't suited for you. I can think of many people who shop for clothes, for example, and they sit around with the tags on until they're given away because they're too small, dated, etc. ;)

You poor boy. Will this leave a lasting scar? It wasn't 100 pages for me anyway as I view more *posts per page. So there. :p

No need to be a douche, and for the record, peapody is female.

I was actually surprised to see she hadn't started the latest thread! She posts enough in them so I guess it doesn't matter though ;)

Latest for me...

Really? I took the cue from the post count and not page count. I was under the impression that graphic-heavy threads are closed after about 2000 posts.

Haha, I don't care, but it would have been nice to keep it going since I did the last 2 and put some work in tracking down old threads and adding up posts etc etc. Whatever.

Got myself the biggest m*&*#&(*$& snow broom I can find, since it snows like every other day this year

Lol that is what I need! I'm too short for my SUV!

Hmm.. last purchase..

Really? So even after I PM you and apologize for stepping on toes that I did not know were there you're still going to give me crap? I don't get it. Now, on the note of tracking down old threads, I will add them since it is apparently SOP to have them there. I will likely do it in a while though, I hope that is acceptable to you.

What I truly love is when I take the time to apologize for creating a thread, which is absurd, then that very person continues to brow beat me over the content, format, and apparent creation. If using your logic then you creating the last two stepped on the toes of the one who created the one just before yours. Again, this seems absurd and quite childish.

If this is going to ruin your day then please PM me and ask me to have a mod delete this thread to leave it open for you to create a new one. I don't gain anything by creating a new thread, I just saw the other exceeded 2k posts. Again, this was as innocent as I could possibly get and yet I'm still being **** on by people who apparently have issues with me.

@jessica. http://upc.*************/uploads/smilies/hug.gif

No one has a monopoly on threads and as such no one should really feel too possessive about them. The last purchase thread was about due for a reincarnation after surpassing 2000 posts. (Page numbers don't matter as much because posts per page are user customizable.)

I bought some chill pills™ and I'd be happy to share. :)

I don't think you had anything to apologize for, jessica..

You did what was supposed to be done. If I had noticed before you, I would have started the new thread. Closing threads and starting new ones after the 2,000 post mark is typically what is done around here.

Who cares who the thread starter is...... all that matters is that there is a thread for everyone to show off their consumerism.;)

no big deal! You don't have to apologize! Who cares?! I just didn't get to sending your reply (phone call with my residency director)...I replied but then you send the above message - don't jump so quickly.

Wish I could get my taxes done, worked 3 jobs last year and only got my W2 for one of them :( didnt make much though...probably about 4k so maybe a $200 refund if that. Anyone have a guess? I always mark no dependencies or whatever so they take all the taxes out.

What?

Seriously dude, you're in the wrong thread.

This isn't the "What Is Your Wish?" or "Random Thought For The Day" thread.

People are talking about tax returns and yes I spent about everything I made on my computer, I am a full time college student. And half the posts in this thread are about who started it and why they started it so early...
