I've got an old Oyster which I will be replacing soon with an Omega :)

You don't "replace" a Rolex with an Omega.

An Omega is a Swatch. A Rolex is still a Rolex.

My head is about to explode with jealousy. Congrats. :)

Thanks. :)

When I get it, I'll post photos of it taken by my 2nd favourite camera -- D300 + a prime lens attached. ;) Or I'll just post photos from the actual camera instead. ;)

Haha Omegas arent even in the same league. They use ETA movements unless its the Omega 8500 Calibre, I only buy watches with in house movements!

Would agree that a Rolex is a world apart from an Omega. I own an Omega (Constellation) and dream of owning a Rolex one day.

Congrats. You can't go wrong with Rolex. I'm looking to buy an Explorer I but the previous 36mm model.

That is a fine watch also, in fact my very first Rolex that I wore for 10 years and its still ticking to COSC specs!! amazing, classy and simple. Simple is the best.

@Kaiser Phoenix
A very nice watch, a true legend. It's so beautiful, so classic, so iconic, so manly, so sexy...:D
It's one of my favorites watches, i have the one without the DATE (it's a little bit thinner beceause it doesen't have the cyclops).

P.S. Omega watches are very nice, too. I own one (James Bond version), but IMO when it comes to divers, nothing comes even close to the king: Rolex Submariner.
:)

Thank you for the kind words!

It has Natalie Portman in it. That is good enough for me.

The review I got from the male camp was that while it has her in it, disappointment was high when there was no Natalie boobie in it whatsoever. ;) Just sayin'.

On the other hand, we got man ass and that was nice for me. :D

The King of Limbs.

Radiohead's new album. It just went up for pre-sale today. I bough the newspaper album. Two clear 10" vinyl records in a purpose-built record sleeve, a compact disc, many large sheets of artwork, 625 tiny pieces of artwork and a full-colour piece of oxo-degradeable plastic to hold it all together. Comes out 9 May. I expect it to be a limited release like the In Rainbows discbox.

Also includes a digital download that is available this Saturday, the 19th. Can't wait!

I bought a FANTASTIK napkin holder vertical laptop stand for my MBP.

It cost $2 at IKEA.:D I added the felt to protect the MBP. I'll probably put some Apple stickers over the felt.

My new 24" monitor is also in the 1st photo.

Fuji X100.

It was on my "Want" list, but now it's on my "Want, and pre-ordered!" list. It only just came out for pre-order in Australia a few days ago (and at only one shop I could find) but hopefully I get one from the first batch. :)

Whoa - loving the design of this! Unfortunately, all vintage design cameras cost really much (especially Leica). :(

Got it from TK Maxx should of been £50 but I got it for £16.99 but I feel bad on spending money anything but necessity as I have no job :(

May take it back. Hmm see what parents says.

I know many women who said they "didn't want anything" for valentine's day / birthday / christmas, but none of them really meant it.

Very true but some actually mean it and I'm exclusively speaking of valentine's day. ;)
