Awesome! my wife and I have been talking about getting one, how much did you pay for the tank? if you don't mind me asking..

The few places we've been too are really pushing those all in one tanks they're going for about $500-600... I personally prefer the long tank look and these all in one tanks are cube shaped..

They say the bigger the tank the easier it is to care for because the water isn't as sensitive in sch a large volume. I wish I could have gotten a 50 gallon but didn't have the space

20 gal long - $35
Hood with light - $45 (need better lighting if you want corals)
Live rock - $7 per pound
Live sand - $25 for 20 pounds
Salt - $15 to make 25 gallons
100 watt heater - $35
Filter - $30
Power head - $33
Water testing kit - $30
Hydrometer - $15

So about $400 to get started.

very nice ... two yrs ago I started putting together a 110 gallon tank with a 30 gallon sump. I have the tank, built my own canopy & stand, etc. I just have such an erratic schedule I just haven't had the motivation to fire it up.

Yea, I'm really excited to get this thing going. I should be able to get some crabs, snails, shrimp, etc. In this weekend to start cleaning, then a week or two after that get a couple clowns. Still trying to decide if I want to pit corals in, a lot of work

My ipod earbuds blew out again. I'm tired of switching them out at the apple store, so I bought a pair of these:

I'm pretty happy with them so far. They sound great, and I like the buds. The tips keep them in my ears on the treadmill, and I barely feel them when they're in my ears. They were a bit expensive, but the tips are worth the extra cost.

Do the tips only fit on Bose earbuds, or do you think they would fit on another brand? I'm happy with my UE earbuds, but would like to try those tips out.....

Yet another person to the MBA club! Congrat's, it is a very cool notebook!!

Im curious to know what the MBA club members think of this...I bought a 32gb ipad 2 from this company we order computer stuff from, but for about 400 more euros, I can get the new basic MBA. I want a tablet, and have a MBP already, so should I make the jump to the MBA, or just go with the tablet? Thoughts?

I'm happy with my Air + iPad2.

Going to try it without a protein skimmer? Make sure you let that water cycle. Good Luck! :)

Only Blows. ..Sorry I mean Bose.
...says the guy pushing Monster products.

And no, I don't think the tips will fit on other earbuds. You could always try though, they sell them individually for 8.99 a pair. I'd check the return policy, but if they don't work, you can probably just take them back.

I have iPad 1 and while its great for reading books/magazines and occasionaly playing games, I often found the need for a keyboard and full blown OSX for the work that I do. MBA gives me the best of both worlds.

If your MBP serves your needs well than stick with iPad 2
