I grew up in the NY Finger Lakes region. That whole area is beautiful during summer afternoons and early evenings. The drive on the east side of Seneca Lake is almost picture perfect with nothing but trees on both sides of the lake side road for at least 20 miles.

I'll have to check those out. I was pretty disappointed the other night when I saw the toe box already coming apart on my shoes. I'll have to try exchanging them tonight.

I would, no shoe should fall apart that easily. (unless you get them at the dollar store)

Cant believe someone comes to the US for vacation...haha and just an FYI the east coast during that time is hot and sticky So expect 85F with 10000% humidity and watch out for Day 4 - West Virginia, that there is hillbilly country.

I've only ever been abroad twice so far and both times have been to USA Last year I took part in the 'westerner 2' trek by Trek America. It was early July along the west coast and we stopped at Pheonix when it was 90F - I nearly died! haha. But Im a survivor, so I should be ok for the east coast

You sir have made me want the trek to come much faster! Sounds beautiful, the stop at Finger Lakes didn't really intrigue me until you mentioned it. I checked the finger lakes website and the photos look stunning. Cant wait

Just got home from the store. Traded in the broken ones and upgraded to these ones no questions asked. They didn't have yours but it wasn't finish line so I'm not sure. Even the guy at the store was surprised they started coming apart.
