Awesome dude, congrats! I just got my "shipped" email about 10 minutes ago.
That stand looks nice, but it's huge! The base looks to be the size of a large dinner plate.
There is a website which has all handcrafted stuff...food, clothing, furnishings...everything. It's sort of a craft Amazon.

I get some of the greatest stuff, from the lamps to some chocolate chip cookies that will make you cry they're so good. Check this site out. I have some specific vendors (usually the artists and artisans themselves) if you want any specific directions. Feel free to PM me if you wish.

I just thought you might get a kick out of the lamp below. I didn't buy it...it's too tall for the location, and it's a bit expensive. But I thought it was cool...

Just got these two games on Steam. Trying to take advantage of the Summer Sale, but most of the games for Mac don't look appealing to me. Does anyone have any recommendations???
I picked up the witcher for mac steam during the sale. The intro is great but I am having trouble running it on my 09 MBP.
For mac steam, try Atom Zombie Smasher, Bastion, Braid, Plants v Zombies, Half Life 2, Portal, or Civ 5.
I bought Binding of Isaac the day it came out back in October/November. I've easily played that game 50+ hours. It is difficult & frustrating but I keep playing it.

Yeah what sold me was the 6 year warranty compared to Canon's 1 year. The IQ seems to be very close from what I've read. I can't wait to go out and try it; I've only taken a few shots in my house lol so no real chance to test it out.

What a sweet deal...Even if setup is a little fiddly...Still coming to terms with the remote. UK £299. If there is a downside, then it's the subwoofer, but I have a far more powerful Sony 6 OHM spare. It only distorts at very high volume, but will probably swap them over. Great sound!

That space ship lamp is awesome, but the artisans on etsy won't deal with the UK except via Facebook which I dropped years ago, and the lamp would be wired for 110 US voltages anyway.
SO....I keep my CC dry!

No worries. It was easy to find....all I did was google image search "peshtemal from Turkey starfish", found the pic that cool bmw guy posted, clicked on it, and it brought me to the etsy store.
