Now I have to wait 2 weeks.

Blue Yeti - Comes in this afternoon. Can't wait to try it out. Thought about getting the Blue Snowball for the portability, but the audio quality on the Yeti is light years ahead.

I got to try the Blue Snowball out at a friends house the other day and I was pretty impressed. For that price range (he bought it for ~$60) I'd expect much much less.

Bauer x:15 Ice Skates

I went into there saying that I needed the most appropriate skates for me that fitted me and were under $200.

I tried some Supremes and CCM Tacks, but the Supremes were too small in the foot and the Tacks had very little ankle support. These were the best ones that fit me before it goes up to $400, so I bought them, they sharpened them for me and I'll be skating next week on them :)

Do go on.

It's a 32" LCD arcade cabinet. It is indeed one of the Black Storm models from Wecom/Sealy.

I'll be putting the Dreamcast, PS3 and Xbox360 in there for all the shmups and vs. fighters. I'm even contemplating loading up XP on my old Mac Mini for some MAME action.

The main thing is getting the PS3 hooked up and BlazBlue on the go :D

I'll be replacing the Street Fighter IV artwork with something nice and simple from either BlazBlue or King of Fighters XIII. The ball-tops will be replaced with white ones and all the buttons with Sanwa OBSF-30s in red with white plungers. I'm undecided on the24mm Start buttons, but they'll be either white or red.

I had the Blue Snowball and hated it. The quality was really nice, but it made everything really, really quiet. Not sure if it was just the one i had or what, but i emailed them about it and they did basically nothing.

Sony E 16 mm f/2.8 Lens

Picked this up on eBay for $180!

Sorry for the crappy iPhone quality! Bad lighting!

You'lll love it!!! I picked up the NEX-5N a few months ago but with the twin lens kit so the 16mm 2.8 and the 18-55. Wanted just the 18-55 but the twin kit was only $150NZ more while the separate 16mm lens was $600NZ.

Since I've had it we have barely taken the 16mm lens of the camera. Makes it so much more portable and quick to snap shots with, with only a minimal drop in quality, but the 2.8 makes it much better when shooting indoors with low light.

Best camera/lens combo I have ever had!

Your experience seems pretty consistent with the reviews that I read. Everyone always seemed to like their Snowball, that is why I almost got it (and you could use it directly with an iPad and camera connector with no powered USB hub). But in the end I got the Yeti because the sound samples were just that much better.

I really wonder whether those mats make any serious difference or not. I actually want to try working standing up so I would appreciate if you could share your experience :)

You don't need the mats if you plan on getting comfortable shoes or sandals. Some people also recommended finger shoes as well.

I tend to work barefoot and I'm a bit heavy, so flat-foot is a problem for me. If you're light and don't have a problem with standing barefoot 5-6 hours a day, than you don't need it.

Why can't you use 12/2? Just curious about the local code and what they want you to use. I heard chicago has some crazy regulations vs the majority of the country.

Thanks.

Not a vet, or a bunny, but a vet bill for $57. My poor little frog was acting sick today so I took him in to make sure he was ok. He was very popular at the vets office :p

Good news is that he seems to be OK :)

I'm finally back on MR for more than 30 seconds after a rather long hiatus! Feels good to be home! :) :apple:

Some goodies in the last week or so :)

The biggest one; a new Citizen watch. I absolutely love it!

Some games and movies:

And a co-worker at work talked me into going to get soup for lunch today. Yeah... never again. Had to overcompensate with a big chunk of meat for dinner:
