I've been wanting to switch from mouse to trackpad for a while now. My mother finally got sick of her old travel-sized USB mouse for her iMac, so I picked this guy up and gave her the Magic Mouse. Win-win, thus far.
Finally bit the bullet on some winter boots as well. Didn't spend much time commuting in December (no school the entire month) and we didn't get much snow until the last couple days of January. But when the -20s started popping up, I couldn't hold out any longer.

I have headphones costing hundreds of pounds, but these monoprice IEMs are notorious for sounding ridiculous good for $8, so when I saw they had finally landed on Amazon UK I decided to feed my curiosity.
I've been waiting years for this book, ridiculously excited.

Just picked this up on the bay. Happy Hacking Keyboard Professional 2 in black/with printed key caps, with travel case, orange WASD keycaps and green utility caps. Going to look sweet!!! I used to have the blank white HHKB but that was hard to get used to.

I swear we have the exact same taste in gadgets/tech toys, sometimes. I'm eyeballing a HHKB right now; but I think I'm going to end up with a Filco 10keyless to save some money. Nice pick-up!

Good call. You guys out east got blasted pretty hard by that storm didn't you. Got around 25-30cm in southeastern ON.

Ive just received GoPro H3 Black. Had a few issues pairing the wifi remote, but alls good now. Loving the iPhone app for live view. Just made my first GoPro film, edited with iMovie. The film is boring but the GoPro rocks.

We're still getting hit right now, amount on the ground so far is around 50cm. Winds are the killer right now, theres no snow in some parts, and 2-3 feet in others. City has pretty much been shut down since yesterday morning, police are advising to stay off the roads.
