Yes through a little workaround. All you need to do is use a proxy to start the stream and then disable it.

1. get the plugin stealthy through chrome or firefox
2. disable stealthy. log into gamecenter.
3. start stealthy. Pick your hometown game
4. once the video starts to play, disable stealthy
5. enjoy!

I use airparrot to stream it to my tv as well; that way I can multi-task using my computer and watch the game.

Then am I right in assuming that you have to use gamecenter from your mac and then airstream to send it to the AppleTV? I'd love to be able to cut the cord (or in my instance, dish) and still watch my Wings, but I'd prefer to use just the NHL app on the Apple TV rather than my computer.

Just got home from the Apple store:

The mini is going in my living room as a HTPC.

I'm intrigued. What are you going to do with this over and above what an Apple TV provides?

That is correct. But, seeing that you're in Philly you will be fine since gamecenter checks the IP.

Hope the Wings get better... Chicago has the momentum they need right now.

I currently have a Linux box in my study that acts as a media server, but it doesn't play well with the Apple TV. Every time I want to stream something to another room, I have to connect my MacBook to the TV. The mini will replace the Linux box and allow me to share my iTunes library with my Apple TVs. (Something I can't do with my MBP because my collection is too big to fit on its 256GB SSD.) And it's nice to sit on the couch and browse the Internet on a 50" screen. :p

Wanted to get it set up this weekend, but, unfortunately, didn't have the time.

Retails for $150 but I got 'em for $35!

We have a Marshall's sister store here in Canada called Winners, and i'm always finding awesome tech related stuff there for ridiculous prices. Love it. Hell, it's where i get most of the stuff (cables, docks, cases) for my iDevices.

;) Nah, I got them from Marshall's and they were marked "out of season."

The people at Marshall's probably thought they were earmuffs...and they're putting out their Spring stuff now!:D

Generally speaking, department stores get in merchandise for different seasons that they don't carry at other times of the year so don't have space for them in the off season. It's likely that those headphones were stocked for Christmas and now are considered "out of season" to clear the stock/space for spring merchandise, etc.

Last two purchases:

"The Truth About Love" CD by Pink

"Some Nights" CD by fun.

Pioneer app radio for the work truck, still need to get the trim plate cut right but I'm not too worried about it. So far it's pretty cool :)

I got a straight razor for Christmas, and grabbed some of this exact cream from Amazon. I gotta say it's scary taking that super-sharp blade to my throat.

Yeah, to say the least! I was pretty nervous the first time. Still can't get over how sharp the blades are.
