BR-5700 (current-gen Shimano 105 front brake, black). Bought it from the bike shop I work at and with my employee discount, it came to $46.

Replaced my ****** old Oval branded front brake. The difference is HUGE. Way smoother brake lever action, and stronger braking (works 100% with my 105 brake/shift lever's altered cable pull ratio).

Had to update my tripod for something sturdier and didn't want to blow a wad of ca$h, found these on fleabay for AU $260. Went with this tripod because of the 3 leg sections versus 4 or 5. Hopefully less vibration as a result. Reviews for Benro's ball-heads are pretty good in this range and 8Kg is way more than I'll ever have loaded on it!

MiniTT1 (1), and FlexTT5 (2) to give me more reliable flash triggering. I bought these instead of the Plus III's so I can have ETTL when I eventually buy ETTL flashes. :)

Zuo Modern Lider Comfort Office Chair.
I'm really hoping it's as comfortable as it looks; the cheap office chair I have now has no back support and is falling apart.

Sold my 2012 13" MBA last night and just picked up the new 13" this morning as well as the $100 app store card and new Airport Extreme. New TC + another AEBS in a few weeks.

Just applied the new BestSkinsEvermatte skin, mixed on if I think it looks better than the previous glossy skins. Also on order is a black bezel skin.

Looks really nice. After you get it and use it for a while, report back and let us know if it lived up to your expectations.

An astoundingly boring way of spending an obscene amount of money. But a necessity...

LG Washer and Gas Dryer...

I have the HE top load washer/dryer set from LG and they are good. If you have ever owned a front load washer before then you know about the wobble when the spin cycle turns on right? If you have never owned a front load washer, I highly suggest stablizing the washing machine. What you need to do is find two pieces of wood that is just a tad taller than the little foot pegs on the under side of the washer. Lift the washer and put the two pieces of wood on the outside of the feet and rest the washer frame on the pieces of wood. Each piece of wood needs to be as long as the depth of the washer to properly stablize the washing machine. If you do not do this, the second your spin cycle starts to spin at 1,400rpm's, your washer will start walking. The problem is with the feet under the washer. Most feet are made of plastic and really start to wobble around when the machine goes into the 1,400 rpm spin cycle. There are many things you can buy from your local hardware store, but they are expensive. Wood is cheap and easy to use.

Thanks so much for the heads up...this is my first front loading washer. I will be in touch with the installers (it hasn't been installed yet) and discuss it with them.

Again, my thanks:D

In the UK we only have front loading machines. I've never had to put anything under the feet.
That said I would have no idea what setting we spin on. That is Mrs Apple fan boy's domain.

Good luck with the chair. I have a chair from them and the leather/pleather is falling apart after 6 months. I would take advantage of their warranty when you can. This does look more sturdier though plus it looks nice.

I have seen some of the washing machines you people use over there. They look small and do not hold much laundry. I do not know if this small washer is the norm over were you live, but in the states, we have HUGE capacity washing machines that spin at 1,400RPM's. Most of the older washing machines spun at no more than 700-800 rpm's. Now with the advent of new front loaders, each company has engineered their washers to spin at 1,400rpm's. This is waaaaay to fast for the tub to be spinning. One of the reasons why I got rid of my front loader is because it spun so fast, it sounded like a jet engine getting ready to take off. It litterally scared the crap out of me the first time I heard that sound. Then, if you have an unballanced load and that the spin cycle starts, the machine will shake your house as it walks down the hall. There are many upon many videos on Youtube about homes being damaged due to excessive vibration from washing machines.

Enjoy.

Oh dang, that's not good. Was it this chair?

Yes it is. They only send the replacement part, which was the seat. Great right? They sent the wrong one without the arm rests. And they told me too bad. So you get what you pay for essentially. My first and last replica.
