I have the same light... works great. Night rides are fun... but I usually go with a group of people. Seems safer that way... plus easier when you draft.:)

Since this is a picture thread... might as well post some stuff I purchased and received recently...

As a coffee snob, I think I can speak for other coffee snobs when I say that no one disdains press coffee, and makers like yours are perfectly suited for the purpose. The coffee snob in me suggests that the method of production, and the equipment used, is FAR less important the the freshness and quality of the beans used.

Nice press...it looks a bit like an old Bodum I have stashed somewhere. Enjoy your coffee!

De Longhi has an excellent reputation for making pretty user friendly machines. My experience with them is a couple of beginner machines I had which were fine at the time. This looks like a nice mid level machine (I'll check out the specs later!)...I'm sure you'll pull some nice shots from it!

I really hope so! :)

I had been looking for a good mid-level one for months until I came across an amazing discount at an online shopping site so I managed to get it for about $417 instead of $780 which is the MSRP for this one in Turkey. Cannot wait to get my hands on it :)

Just FYI...there is a wonderful thread for coffee enthusiasts ("Espresso Enthusiast") where a pleasant and supportive discussion exists if you want to talk coffee, give or get advice, and just generally enjoy talking coffee.

My 4x4 Boss Crawler and Delorean arrived on Monday, about 10 minutes before we left to go to Butlins for the week. Now I'm home and totally exhausted, but I'm determined to get some of this built whist the kids are at their Mum's for the weekend.

Nice glassware. I have the Bodum 4.7 oz Bistro Double Wall borosilcate cup...if you properly pre-heat the cup before do your extraction, it will really keep your espresso hot throughout the drink.

Unlike the US version (EC860), the European version (EC850) does not have the cup warmer unfortunately :/ Tray is there though, so cups might get a little bit warm with the heat of the machine anyway. Any tips on how to pre-heat it properly? :)

Yup!

Warmer tray is useless, so forget that. If your machine has a hot water dispenser, the first thing during preparation process fill the cup with hot water and let it sit while you grind, tamp, etc.

If it doesn't have a hot water dispenser, just put the cup under the shower screen and turn the machine to the extraction setting and fill the cup, then turn the the machine back to stand by, do your grinding, etc.

I suggest that if you want to continue this discussion, which I will be more than happy to do (I LOVE talking espresso:p), let's take it over to the Espresso Enthusiast thread to which I gave you the link in my first post to you above.

I bought a pair of Apple Earpods and a Cocoon GRID-IT organizer on Amazon. :) Going on Vacation in a few days and needed a way to keep all my cords/bricks together!

Actually almost bought a Grid it today in the apple store. It really looks like it will work well for my bag for school. Will most likely have to jump for it!

Had to go for a walk to the delivery depot earlier to pick up Ketsui: Kizuna Jigoku Tachi Extra Limited Edition as it had a £15.80 Customs charge; £7.80 VAT and £8 handling fee .

I have however been on a Lego building mission and finished both new kits. My Boss Crawler is number 09002/20000.

Another reason as to why I bought it! It shall be a lifesaver for school. Amazon is cheaper than the Apple store ( of course ), so I recommend getting it there. :p

Sorry for the bad picture but I was in full-excitement mode; '13 Kawasaki ZX-6R 636 ABS (I've already put 206 miles in 3 days on it).

I'd put this in the Expresso Enthusiast thread, but Shrink would probably kill me:D My first ever McDonalds Coffee and it was really nice. Much better than their tea, or that instant rubbish I have at work or home.
