I realized the 5D Mark III/300 f/2.8 IS II combination is going to get heavy when hand holding for 3-4 hours to shoot football, so..

Of course I would run out of the oil halfway through spraying the filter. Sorry for the terrible picture.

How is that possible? One can of that should last through several filter oilings at the very least. You don't want to soak the hell out of the filter. I can't see how you could need two entire cans of oil for a filter?

Agreed. I use the same K&N filter recharger kits for my truck and I've never used a full can of oil on my filter at a time. One would have to be very wasteful in order to use that much (1 or 2 cans) in one recharge.

That was probably my 4th recharge with that first kit, I had to go get another one when the oil ran out from it.

Got a new TV this weekend in preparation for next-gen, which sounds like it might be here sooner than we know it - can't wait!

So where are the shorts? Do you wear those out?

No shorts were purchased....for now.

I might get the shorts and be a Manchester United player for some Halloween parties though. As for the socks, you can wear them out. A lot of people like wearing them now.

Coffee press is the best for straight coffee.

For espresso I had two espresso makers before getting tired of the clean up so I got a Verismo last December.

I know I'm limited to Starbucks coffee for espresso but no clean up and I can count the bad shots pulled since December on my two hands. When you need a jump start in the morning the ease of use gives this nothing but ++
