Just got some new film, seriously addicted!! Trying Ilford for the first time.

I still use film, and this brand are excellent, and allow for high quality images to be taken; their black and white film is especially good.

Maxed out 13" Macbook Air Refurb

Bye bye 15" rMBP

Brilliant computer - I have one (CTO from 2013) and it is easily the best computer I have ever had.

Bose SoundTouch 20 for the kitchen..

Very nice; what is there not to like about being able to listen to - and enjoy - excellent quality audio music in the kitchen?

A wonderful 25 year old Armagnac, to go along with a 20 year old cognac (previously pictured).

And, a snifter to go with them....

Ahem.

Meetings today were followed by a visit to the very vendor where I had spotted this product, - the 25 year old Armagnac - oh, around a month ago. And order for a few bottles followed, along with one for two bottles of 25 year old Calvados…...

How can you say goodbye to the screen!

I use a Thunderbolt display most of the time, and I actually use the retina screen to increase the resolution of the display, so while the screen is nice, it's not so "retina" for me.

I'm so much more in love with it than digital these days. I've seen image examples of the Ilford film and the images look amazing, so I'm hoping for the best on these. I've printed a few Kodak Tri-X 400 images and I love the classic Kodak look, but it still left me wanting more in my images. I hope this one can prove to be different. :)

Man that shipping date must be torture! Can't wait for mine. I'll be a piece of cake for me to handle coming from the OnePlus One (similar form factor), which I tested using a screenshot from a 6 Plus' homescreen just so I could get the feel of it :D

It'll be here before I know it. I wasn't even planning on upgrading, but when I found out I can get $200 for a 4s, I was like - OKAY! :D I also got an extra 1GB/mo for two years with the purchase.

As for the form factor, I'm 6'-3" with pretty big hands so I think I'll be okay. :)

Any screen remorse switching from a retina to non-retina display?

I just upgraded to a 13" rMBP from a 13" MBA and this screen is so much brighter, sharper, colors are more saturated. I feel like I've ruined my eyes for all other displays now. :S lol

I've talked to David (ThatDudeInBlue) in person before, he lives in my area and goes to one of the local car meets that I shoot sometimes. Nice guy, amazing videos. Really helpful when it comes to video stuff, he's given me some advice. He actually reviewed my friend's 330HP Civic (Sleeper Status video, I think it's the top viewed video on his page) shortly before the engine blew on it.

That's pretty awesome! I'm always amazed at the quality of his videos, he spends some good time on them and it really shows. I've watched that video, it's a hilarious car. :D

I went back and forth between this and the Air, but I decided more ram and a better screen beats portability. Also got an eBoy NYC gelaskin (nuvango now).
