Wait, you actually listen to your dentist?? What's that like? LoL.

I'm a dentist. People rarely actually listen to what we tell them, at least around here ;).

...Good job on the Sonicare though. Life would be rough without my Diamond Clean.

I listen to my Dentist. Upon my last visit I was told "you have really, really, nice gums."

I said thanks and that I use one of electric brushes they recommended.

My dentist says I "...have some of the nicest, strongest teeth" he's ever seen, but that I have "...deep grooves/ridges" in my molars which makes me prone to cavities. Alas, I had two that needed to be filled. He told me to buy this, so I did.

I too use an electronic tooth brush. I think it's an Oral-B 5000. It had made a world of a difference. My dentist wants me to have my molars capped with some epoxy stuff

I figured many on this board would have electronic toothbrushes and decent hygiene. Pretty shocking how much of the world is pretty clueless (and/or lazy) when it comes to their teeth. Electronic toothbrushes are mostly great, but anytime someone doesn't floss they miss 30% of each tooth.

Check out woven floss. It's great:

Probably talking about sealants:

And to stop derailing the thread, my last significant purchase was my 64GB iPhone 6 Plus!

A few cases for my iPhone 6 recently, but this is my favorite. It'll be a while before I get it though. I think they said mid October. I figure since I have to use both hands with this phone, I might as well go for the wallet. :)

I've got a Diamond Clean myself and I couldn't be happier. Battery life is outstanding.

I pre-ordered DriveClub for the PS4. Hopefully it's as good as Forza.

My university professor introduced the class to this show. We've never heard of it before. We watched three episodes only but I personally loved it so I decided to purchase the first season from iTunes. Will be getting the other four seasons once I finish season one which consists of 36 episodes.

Nice. Some of the episodes that I've seen are straight up creepy! There's tower ride at Disney that is tied to this show. :)

I love horror! The three episodes we saw in class were fantasy and science fiction with a dark, macabre atmosphere. But I know there are lots of other genres since the show consists of unrelated stories which is very cool :D

Excellent! I love the Twilight Zone. It's interesting to see some famous actors appear in episodes in their early career, before they made it big. William Shatner being one that comes to mind right now.

I listen to my Dentist as well. I just wish I would've taken better care of my oral care when I was younger, but, alas ignorance was bliss back then and I've been paying the price (in more ways than one) for the last 25+ years.

I use the woven floss as well (on the recommendation of my Hygenist years ago) and it's now been re-branded as part of the Listerine line:

HP Pavilion 27bw IPS

Beautiful picture quality.

Terrible, terrible quality from my personal experience with HP's monitors. Their IPS displays don't match the level of quality that Samsung and Dell panels have. Not to mention it's a "low-resolution" 27-inch IPS display.

Well, THIS one is awesome. Way better than two Dells (not IPS) that I have. It took a lot of calibration though. Out of the box it looked like crap.

Besides, have you even tried this particular model in person? Maybe you should before generalizing that all HP IPS monitors are terrible.
PC Mag: Great color and viewing angles. Sleek design. Good grayscale performance
C-Net: The HP Pavilion 27xi* features a beautiful, streamlined design, great performance...
Amazon Customer Reviews: 4.5 out of 5 stars
(*27xi is the same as the 27bw, just different color)
