It's been an exceptionally busy month. I traveled for work three weeks in a row, it was my birthday, I signed a lease on a new apartment, and loaded up on the furniture I could find on the weekends.

So, first off - whole new apartment. Just moved in on Saturday!

Bedding is all new - was a gift from my mother; even has a fancy down comforter. I have a red desk in the mail; didn't get delivered because of the weather.

The entertainment shelf is new:

The coffee table is new, and the sofa is new:

The shelves are new, and the chairs are new:

I decided I don't need cable - I live on Hulu and Netflix, so I could save a bit. Just got U-Verse Internet (24/3) installed a few hours ago, and picked up a digital antannae for locals. Also got a new router - but the installer was pretty cool and took and extra 20 minutes to wire ethernet to both my family room and bedroom, so I think I might return it.

Image

Got some new shoes - the Strands are a bit *too* dressy for my tastes, but they're growing on me and I needed a dress-up pair.

This is kind of cheating, but never was able to post the games I got for Christmas:

I was working this week in Arizona, and instead of coming home on Friday, my girlfriend flew in Thursday night and we were able to spend a wonderful weekend together hiking, shopping, relaxing, and enjoying the sites. And because it was my birthday, she got me a framed picture of us, a beautiful Brooks Brothers tie and some new socks and a bunch of local chocolate. Only have pics of the latter:

We had a wonderful time, and it was a nice distraction from work. Got one of her friends to have flowers waiting for her when she got home.

... And finally, I *just* purchased three tickets to Chicago for my sister's 21st birthday. She wanted to just go somewhere, and this is what I could get with my SW Points.

Info on the seude shoes?

Only been on it about 7 hours, already side loaded a few apps from my Galaxy SIII that I needed for work. This might work out OK. Just waiting for the official release of 10.2 now for it.

(not my pic)

Ordered a white 30litre Simple Human Round Steel step trash can with a black plastic lid since my older one isn't working that well (different model).

Got my mom an HP/Google Chromebook 11 in white and blue. She loves it. Definitely the best ultra-portable Chromebook out there imo - and I've tried them all. Not that I'd ever purchase anything made by HP again (horrible hardware reliability). But since this is being supported by Google I caved in. So far it's a fantastic little netbook for the price with a quality display, and beautiful Apple-esque hardware design. Shame on you, HP.

That is sharp-looking.

EDIT: The Chromebook, not the trash can. ;)

Don't they have a lifetime warranty?

Oh I didn't know that. Still though, I'd rather spend $50 instead of wasting my time getting it fixed under warranty. And I'd still be without a can unless the company sends you a replacement in advance.

Edit: Just checked and they only have a 5 year warranty on these. Funny thing is that I've had mine for 5 years now ha.

I just bought a 2014 Ford Fusion SE. This is just a stock photo, but it looks nearly identical and is the same color. I'll take a photo of it tomorrow when it's not dark outside or snowing!

Amazing detail!

RX100II

Wanted a P&S to take on my honeymoon (Maui), bringing the AW110 but didn't want to lug around the DSLR. Really it was just another reason to purchase new camera.

Not pictured is the wedding I'm funding taking place on Valentines day. :p

Nice, Congrats on the car. I got the SE Hybrid model in Nov. Wish I got the Titanium model.

CONGRATS! I love mine. Highly encouraged you get a grip for it. Im using the one from Sony, greatly improves your hold on it.
