What are you going to do? Consoles to HDMI splitter, then splitter to elgato, then elgato to TV?

First impressions are it is well built. Took a few snaps, just to work out the controls and they looked good. Took a couple of night time pics too, handheld, and they are well-exposed. Hopefully I will carry this one around with me more and get more into the habit of taking pictures!
That's the plan, I'll let you know how it goes. my biggest worry (besides it not working at all) is that it hurts video quality.
I've hooked up the PS3 and PS4 to the Elgato at once before. The PS3 connects via S-Video and the PS4 over HDMI. It worked great. The program had some issues when both consoles were on at the same time, but other than that, it worked.
As mentioned yesterday, in the Post your Future purchase thread, I picked up a second hand 70-300 mm Nikon zoom lens today. Very different shooting from my 18-55mm. I was worried it would be a bit slow, but as I'm using my new D7100 the AF is so much quicker than my old (now traded in D3200).

I picked up a 10Hz GPS logger to use with either an iPad or Iphone running Track Addict Pro and working with a GoPro. I'll use this with Race Render to create a data overlay for autocross and track day videos. We have a test & tune event for autocross this coming Saturday and this will be the primary thing I test and tune since I have a track day at Laguna Seca the following Friday.

Wow! Those are man cave items for sure.
I'm single now.. so my entire home is now my man cave... LOL
I hear ya', I'm close to cutting the cord too. I'm hoping the TiVo doesn't let me down, it's pretty much my last hope. I've used many DVRs in the past (ones provided by Comcast, Dish, DirecTV, and a Ceton tuner) and all were crap.
Biggest thing stopping me is HBO and Formula 1; if there was a paid online subscription option for both I'd get rid of cable in a heartbeat.
Is that a Anker dock? It looks like the one I just bought on Amazon, the reviews were very good.

Yeah, Tivo is great, I have Tivo Premiere (dont use it anymore since I cut cable), but it has been the only DVR I ever used. I was paying for HBO but barely used it, same with Netflix, now I get my money's worth on Netflix. Its not Anker, its some other brand, it worked great when I used it this weekend, and it also had great reviews, it was only $25.
OK, I have to stop, LOL, I been meaning to buy this for quite some time, specially since I use my macbook for schoolwork a lot and microsoft office (specifically excel and powerpoint) are hard to use with out one.

This leads to two possibilities. You will be the popular man of all local men and/or what women you attract may be younger than what you are used to. A man cave with a pinball machine, NASCAR suit in glass case, rockstar signed electric guitars on wall, mini bar, mechanical rodeo bull, and neon Budweiser sign would detract all women over 30 but attract the ones under that age.
Just received my order and wanted to report back. The switcher I bought only has 3 input ports, 1 output port. That being said, I hooked up my PS4* and Xbox One to the switcher, and then the switcher to the Elgato, Elgato to the TV. It works GREAT! For some reason the switcher has a port for a DC power adaptor, but it doesn't need it. It draws power from the HDMI cables. I can even have both consoles and the Elgato program up and running, and switching between them works seamlessly.
Only downfall I can see with this setup is that I also have optical audio hooked up with 1 headset, but I have 2 consoles. So that part sucks and will require me to switch back and forth manually by plugging and unplugging optical cables. Also, the LED light on the switcher is roughly as bright as the fricken sun, lol.

*Please note, between my PS4 and the switcher is my Monoprice DVI-to-HDMI splitter. This allows me to bypass the HDCP so the Elgato will work with the PS4.
