Bought an Asus Chromebox for the spare bedroom. Great little computer within it's limitations.
Picked up my HP 11 Chromebook about a week and a half ago. Neat little computer for jotting down lecture notes, streaming music, or watching videos. Not at the same time, of course. :p

I think you'll fully enjoy it. For the <$300 price point you can't go wrong. :)

Post some pics when you get the chance.

A couple of quickie pictures of it hooked up temporarily to my 40" Samsung TV. Size compared to my Roku 3

LSD for my non-M E46: 2 clutch, 25% locking, 3.46 final drive. (edit: and a pretty finned cover)

I'd be very interested in hearing your impressions.

I'm getting sick of inside rear-wheelspin on my 2003 330ci. This car would be way more fun, as well as effective with an LSD. However, I don't track my car so I'm not sure I'd really benefit enough from it to justify the price-tag.

Can't help but feel that the E46 feels a bit too grown up for my tastes. That said, I think it's the best BMW design to date, especially in M3 form, after the Z8.

I will be taking it for a 700 mile road trip this weekend, which will tell me how much I can tolerate the increased rpms on the highway. Later this month I am signed up for an autocross on the 24th, then a track day at Laguna Seca on the 31st.

I expect the biggest bang to come from the 3.46 final drive. E46 330s are geared too high.

Hey...the coffee looks interesting! The Blue Tokai is a 4/20 roast...nice and fresh.

It looks like you have a great local supplier for freshly roasted coffee...a wonderful source to have nearby.

Enjoy your coffee...:D

I've decided to build a hackintosh. My Mac Mini is getting old but a Mac Pro would be overkill. Not that I have anything against overkill! ;)

Specs:

  • i5-4670K 3.4 GHz
  • Noctua Low-Profile Quiet CPU Cooler
  • GIGABYTE GA-Z87N-WIFI LGA 1150 Intel Z87 HDMI SATA 6Gb/s USB 3.0 Mini ITX Intel Motherboard
  • Samsung 840 EVO 500 Gig SSD
  • TP-LINK TL-WDN4800 Dual Band Wireless N900 PCI Express Adapter
  • Corsair CS Series 550 Watt ATX Modular Power Supply
  • Crucial Ballistix Sport Very Low Profile 16GB Kit (8GBx2) DDR3-1600
  • BitFenix Prodigy Midnight Black / Black Steel / Plastic Mini-ITX Case
  • EVGA GeForce GTX 770 DUAL SuperClocked 4GB
  • HP Pavilion 27xi Silver / Black 27" 7ms IPS HDMI LED Backlight Monitor

Most of it should arrive by Thursday. Ghetto iMac, eh? :p

new mouse for the nMP...
Decided to give the MX a try since it was on sale at "worst buy"

So far so good, getting used to it. I wish though they made a bluetooth version... Hate using one of my precious USB slots. A pro computer with only 4 USB :p

Great choice! I bought one a while back and love it! I just got one of these for when I am traveling for work. Basically the Performance Mouse's much smaller brother. It's nice having the Darkfield sensor for various hotel desks I encounter.

Picked this up at Best Buy this morning and it's a pretty fun game! I love how they upgraded everything from the previous one. I didn't have the "bonus suits" because I like to unlocked them erm "manually" lol

Edit: Sorry for the "instagram" filter

This little guy, and tons of stuff for him. Huge tank, $100 worth of plants, leaves, and hides, and a radiant heat panel. :D

Thanks, I truly am! I had turned into quite the grump after being spoilt by Intelligentsia's Black Cat, since most of my espresso blend/roast options here were Lavazza and Illy. Bloody glad I stumbled upon these 2 roasters, freshly roasted/ground coffee can really raise the bar.

Since nothing is more important than the beans/blend (the best equipment in the world can't fix bad beans), it's great that you have found a source of fresh beans.

Are you grinding yourself, or getting pre-ground?

Just a suggestion...if you are not grinding yourself, and there is any way you can manage a decent grinder, you will find that it makes a huge difference for the better. I know that it is not always possible...but if you can do it, get a grinder...it makes all the difference in the world.

Anyway...glad you are enjoying your new coffees!:D
