Starting my home theater off with a Marantz NR-1606 slim receiver and ELAC B6 bookshelf speakers. I hope to upgrade to 5.2 surround sound eventually, but this is a good start for now.

A little responsibility (a book for world lit class) and a little fun.

Digital Shaws: Flag of Iron (I have the dvd, but I need Lu Feng rocking that Dracula cape on my iPhone) and Killer Clans.

Some nice basses there... love the Jazz... super!
The Jazz bass kind of fits in with this thread. That is my latest last bass purchase. Had to have a classic fender sunburst in my collection.

My favorite is still the 83-84 fender p-bass. It was one the last runs in Leo Fender's Fullerton factory before closing down... so I love the historic value... but love the tone more. My Jazz was made in Corona California... Made very well... love the feel of the Jazz neck.

Holy Moly.... love that vintage vibe! Do you have the chrome covers? I lost mine (I have a 1962 model) but I have them on one of my Precisions.

Unfortunately, I have a standard... so no chrome covers. Looking back, I should have bought an 83-84 Re-Issue instead of a standard... but $300 at the time was a great price. But kicking myself for not getting the RI... which more than doubles what my standard is worth today. From what I understand, Fender still uses the same original press that makes the chrome parts for Fender Custom shops.... so you can get replacements that are just as authentic as the original. I changed my pickguard to a tort... and changed my original pickups to dimarzio's. I have the original white PG and PUP's stored away. Sometimes I think of modding my p-bass with chrome parts with thumb pull bar for that vintage look... but it's more valuable original.
