Affinity Designer Workbook - nice to save $15 over retail. Granted Affinity’s learning curves are something I will work on and through, but I also want to see if I can draw using their software as a way to move beyond Procreate, just in case.

I like their software, now to work on me using it. :)

@Apple fanboy - what a beautiful image. The sparrow looked like it was waiting to have its picture taken. :p

Thank you. Sparrows are what he eats. We get lots in the garden. Mrs AFB normally chases the Sparrow Hawk away if she sees him.
I usually reach for the camera.

I can’t draw for toffees. So my camera is what I do to be creative.

My bad: read the bird description too fast. Love that photo (even if he eats sparrows), you’re a great photographer.

I doodle for fun and relaxation.

It is so great to see folks talents here.

I thought you watched films for that! Care to post an example of your work?

Movies too yes.

One of my better sketches above. Yep, it’s from a movie.

You can find plenty of mine and many more talented MR folks drawings in this thread:

I love seeing other people’s creativity.

Do you post your photos here or somewhere else?

And I look forward to trying new things whenever I can pick up an upcoming iPad Pro on sale.

Some great talent in that thread. You have a thing for eyes. The hardest part in a drawing I think. My daughter used to be very good at them.
I post on here in the POTD thread mostly. And the weekly photo competitions.

Picked up a copy of "Ant-man and the Wasp" 4K Blu Ray. Can't wait to see it again!

I'm watching it right now! How you like the 4K? I'm watching regular HD for now...

I've liked the 4K movies we've seen, so far. Good clarity and awesome visuals. Every so often there will be an artifact in some movement, but it's never bad.

Will that accommodate a plus sized phone securely?

I don’t see anything about the physical size of the phone it can accommodate, but it does say it can handle up to 310 grams and they is more weight than the plus phones. Many of the videos they have show the iPhone X in them.

It’s always a little risky backing stuff on these crowd funding sites, but this seems like a nice product worth the risk to me anyway.

Although a D750 shooter, my 200-500mm is almost permanently attached to my D7100 for extra reach. Got lucky when a Sprrow hawk came looking for lunch a few times.

It even posed for you. Nice! I did have a refurbished 200-500 for a while but I ended up returning it for a refund due to it not focussing at infinity, plus the tripod collar was defective. I seriously thought about buying a used or refurbished D500 instead of this lens but I thought I'd get more use out of the lens while saving up for the D500. Hopefully I can get it before the spring migration starts next year and get a few photos of the eurasian species that come through here once in a while. The oddest bird that I seen here was a Chinese Pond Heron that was, I think, the 3rd ever recorded to be seen here in Alaska.

I asked because my buddy bought a DJI Osmo Mobile 2. He has an 8+ and he said it could not hold his phone securely. He's looking for other options.

I have been lightening my load recently, sold the 70-200/2.8 and traded the 1Dx/1DsIII for 2 5DIV's. My work is usually completed with the 50, 85 and 100L lenses. Although, I could always make room for a 200/2.

I’ve had the 70-200 for years, but have recently started using it more. You go through phases. But the 24-70 and 105 macro get the most love.
