I'm 40 and I just bought my first watch ever.
I had some when I was a kid, but they were gifts and I rarely used them, and mostly because my parents wanted me to, hoping to learn to manage my time: I never did, but not because I didn't wear a watch...
I never liked them, or felt the social or practical need for one. I don't like having something strapped around my limbs, neck or fingers.
So what changed? Mostly, the health features, as you grow up you start to feel the need for this sort of things.
I plan to wear it 24/7, so I picked the one I think it's gonna be the most comfortable, a 40mm SE with a Sport band. I think it looks small on my wrist (175mm) but I'll put on a soft cover (comfortable, remember?) and it should look bigger. I'm not that convinced on the strap, I was thorn between this, the Solo loop and the Braided solo: the solo seems too rubbery and the braided was 50 bucks more...
Well, I guess I'll give it some days, then we'll see if I want a bigger one or another strap...

Enjoy. I got my first AW in September. Also the SE (although 44mm). My step counts, work outs and other health benefits are working for me. Just before bed tonight I’m squeezing in an extra work out to double my move goal so I can keep on track for my February challenge.

Arrived seperatly in the past 10 days....

Apple Watch Series 6
MagSafe Duo Charger
Belkin MagSafe Car Mount
50 Euro AppStore code

I did not like that car mount at all for the Pro Max. Had high hopes as I liked the minimal design but I need my phone plugged in for Car Play and it continually weighed it down.

So disappointed. I will say though, my Jeep has ****** vents so its probably the culprit but I returned.

Look at Proclip. They are the best car mounts around.

I think the vents of your Jeep are to weak to hold the weight? I have an iPhone mini. No problems there.

I made a choice between Apple Headphone and decent sound system. Could not been happier with my decision. British Hi-Fi are not famous without the proper reason.

That's great... I used to be a bit of an audiofile

Then kids came along so I had to put my turntable and records away, then my wife (ex) threw out my vinyl.

That deck sure looks the business.

Enjoy!

This is just one of the thing I try to pick up during current circumstances. It is of good help in calming me down.

I believe I will be in your shoes with kid soon. Let’s see how it goes

This deck is entry level and system is small in scale but it provides quite a feisty sound quality.

I've always been into home audio but have typically bought what I would consider to be midgrade/prosumer/"whatever you want to call it" components in the past. I finally decided to bite the bullet and really spend some money on some higher end components or, at least high-end compared to what I've had in the past. I don't think I could ever see myself spending tens-of-thousands on audio equipment because after a certain point, I feel it's mostly placebo effect with definite diminished returns. I'm thinking something like what I'm getting now should hit that sweet spot.

Parasound A23+ preamp and P6 amp (160Wx2).
