Just received the Olympus OM-D E-M10 Mark II and Olympus 12-40mm f/2.8.

Bought it as a walkaround camera because I just don't like carrying my Canon 5D Mark III for casual photography, even ungripped.

How do you like it? I've been wanting to get a shredder for all my personal papers.

I highly recommend it. Installation is fast and simple. Other than paper, it also shreds staples, paper clips, credit cards and CDs. The shredding process is quite (excluding CD schredding) and efficient. It's also really safe, for instance when you put your hand on the paper opening the shredder stops. So yes I recommend it and I'm happy with my purchase. This is a very sturdy and powerful machine.

Thats a nice little kit, Ive been looking for a walk about myself, the 5D's with heavy glass are too much for those family trips, that olympus looks very nice.

Definitely consider a mirrorless for your family trip camera. Don't get the Canon EOS M, though. I bought the original EOS M when the price dropped and firmware update (to fix slow AF) was released. It's a cool camera for an existing Canon dSLR shooter, because you can get the EF-M to EF adapter and go to town with it for video and still life. But the lack of an EVF is such a detriment (at least to me), and which is why I never really ended up using the EOS M as a walkaround camera. I still have the EOS M, but I mainly use it for video.

Gaming laptop for my 9yr old sons birthday. And to think that for my 9th birthday I got a second hand Scalextric that didn't work!!

I know of hate to do that, but I don't see how thats a 'Gaming Laptop' at all, it doesn't even have a dGPU...

Still, he's 9.

That's a bargain. I'd buy it at that price for the case alone, forget the internals :) You remind me of my uncle who bought around 10 of these for a cheap price from a business that was clearing out. There's definitely some bargains to be had if you know where to look, as you just have. :D

I have a pile at work waiting to be cleared out. Just waiting for the nod from the boss before I take a few home!
