Any site selling them is completely dead. Even 15 minutes or so before release. EastBay, Nike, Champs, FootLocker, FootAction, etc.
Yea I know, they just released them again today on the Nikes Sneakers app, full size run. Champs also has a lot of sizes left. Im skipping these, I want some new Ultra Boosts.

I just purchased a brand new Canon 70d with 18-135mm lens for.............970!!!!! Retail was 1199 before tax! Smart Shopper!

After recently selling all my M43 camera gear, I just got a new camera for my birthday. I wanted the D5500 and 35mm 1.8 lens, but my husband ordered me the Nikon D7200 and 35mm 1.8 lens (he felt the extra $300 for the D7200 body was better value). It's bigger than the D5500 and it doesn't have the articulating touch screen, but can't wait to set it up.

Also, two new 64GB Apple TV's just arrived (got them for a crazy price). One for my husband and one for my 7-year-old son for Christmas. Neither of them know they are getting them, so I hope they will be surprised!

mind asking where you got the apple tv for a good price?

I'd been after a good vintage Hi-Fi tuner-amp for some time to supplement my Rega Planar 3. Was particularly interested on finding a good Marantz. Just found this one, a 2245 in magnificent condition!

And there was some icing on the cake!
I'd planned to offer the seller 20€ less than his asking price if possible, but he said he really wanted the asking price (320€). I'd mentioned that I was a keen AppleMac collector, and he then fetched out a PowerBook G4 Ti 1Gb model that he'd been given. It was rather beaten up, no charger, and he had no idea if it was functioning. And if I wanted it he'd throw it in for free. So I departed with the Marantz and a very unexpected Ti.
On arriving home I powered up the PowerBook and it booted immediately into Tiger with a surprisingly quiet HD. The lid hinge was shot and wouldn't stay open on it's own, but surprisingly both the rear fixed hinge covers were like brand-new (they almost always have the silver paint removed).
So all in all a very satisfactory transaction.
Oh, and the Marantz sounds just wonderful too!

A Clarett2Pre Thunderbolt Audio Interface for my MacBook, arriving tomorrow. I've had a Lexicon Omega since at least 2007, which gets terrible reviews online, but it's been ok for my needs.

I haven't done any recording on my new MacBook yet, but I have recorded with my iPad and know how much better Core Audio is with handling latency vs. Windows. And apparently this thunderbolt interface makes the latency even lower. I can't tell you how how many times latency (and other technical bugs) have gotten in the way of recording on Windows. Good riddance to all that, I hope!

I am in Australia and there have been some good pre-Christmas sales this week.

I purchased each 64GB Apple TV for $210 AUD - they sell for $349 AUD. It was a special two-hour sale with a reseller and only limited stock (they sold out within about 30 minutes). Bit of an impulse purchase.

My D7200 body with the 35mm lens cost $1095 AUD after $100 AUD cash-back on the body and $35 AUD cash-back on the lens ($920 AUD for camera and $175 AUD for lens).

Celestial Pictures posted my favorite Kuo Choi film, Life Gamble this morning. If you rent, don't watch it in English: the film becomes laughably bad with the hilarious English dub.

This is a lovely surprise and a nice little reward for paying my uni tuition.

Nice..good find!

Enjoy your D7200... I have D7100 nice littler camera and the 35mm 1.8 is a great lens!

I pickedd up 2 new things yesterday, or they were delivered yesterday.
1st I've been installing an entire new network in the house from modem to router to switch to access points.
Yesterday the switch came in. a Ubiqiuti 24port Switch.

and the DirecTV guy should be by soon to give me an updated Genie (HR54) because the one I have (HR34) feels like it's on it's last leg and sometimes takes over 1 minute from the time you click the guide button to actually showing the guide.. among other things.
And since that was happening I ordered an eSata external and I have a 2TB WD Red drive lying around so I'm going to add that to the new DVR to increase the storage capacity a little.
