So far I am loving this little beast, I already have a Mac Pro and a rMBP, but I wanted something small and portable for when I am away on shorter trips, or just going to Starbucks.

How do you find the performance? It's such a sexy computer
I have a nMP and want a portable just worried about the power. Mostly for FCPX/light Photoshop work for field use/traveling etc. when i'm stuck at an event all day i could hopefully get some quick edits in

I like it, but so far I haven't done anything super power intensive on there as I have my 15 inch MBP for that. I think for your needs you might want to consider the MBP that you linked to, I don't think the MacBook will be powerful enough.

bought a 13" rMBP to hold me over till the new ones comes out. Best Buy had $150 off so i figured why not. Hopefully I could sell it for a decent price. Hopefully it will won't be too long before the update. In the mean time I'm enjoying the small size compared to my old 17". I bought an incase slim sleeve from the Apple store. Don't know if i'll keep it. Anyone have a suggestion. Also looking at those hard shell cases, thoughts?
