I have the Oral B Triumph, Do you like it better than that?

Let me just say that before I retired from the Navy, I had been using a Sonicare for a few years. I had my separation physical and part of it was the dental exam. They actually had to get the commanding officer in there to look at my teeth. He couldn't believe how good they looked. Not one spot of tartar or anything. Pearly white. So yeah, a Sonicare toothbrush is everything you heard if not better. You don't even have to apply very much pressure to get that result. They are simply awesome.

wife introduced me to the world of Polish pottery.

I ordered a pair of Dynaudio Xeo 2's yesterday in the color Ice Blue, they were discounted to half of its original price, so I went ahead. Been looking for some small decent active speakers for a while, maybe this is the solution for me there. :)

I'd love to hear those. Do you use them with a sub, and if so, which one?

I've had Oral B for the last 20 years and recently switched to Sonicare DiamondClean. My teeth feel so much cleaner now! The battery lasts longer, I get about 3 weeks usage from one charge, compared to the 3 days with Oral B. And the sound and vibration are less disturbing.

The only thing I miss is the colored ring on the brushes.

Oh hell, that's a massive spoiler. Arrow are releasing a special edition of Bird with the Crystal Plumage in June and I couldn't resist.

This was the first giallo that truly blew my mind and it's among the six Dario Argento films I revisit and dig for a variety of reasons. This boasts one of the best rationales for why the killer starts their spree...even if the armchair detective is annoying as hell (apparently Argento did not like Tony Mustante either.)

Looking forward to it.

EDIT:

I think I've broken a record on how many times I've replaced Dario's films. I've loaned them out & never got them back, sold them etc. and they keep coming back into my life.

Update: Common Sense prevailed as I rethought almost all of these and decided when it comes to Argento I will stick with region 1.

So cancelled all and thankfully bought two of the very low stock of Synapse's Tenebrae steel book and two of the Phenomena too (which I have been told is also beginning to hit low stock.) I might order two of Arrow's Bird with the Crystal Plumage seeing how severely I boomerang with Dario's movies.

Awesome little pocket rocket. Love mine.

If shooting video - take a look at EOSHD... the chap there has a set of colour settings he calls Sony ProColor or something like that you can buy (you get them on a PDF) and plug to one of the PP settings in to really improve the video colour.

There's a new firmware out (2.0) if you haven't got it do a search its a simple install.

Star Wars on iTunes (finally on sale so I bought the first one) and also two new Shaw Brothers titles at iTunes. I asked Tim Cook if he'd please continue to offer SBs on iTunes for purchase as they are the only digital platform in the States who feature native dubs for every title they post. Slight price hike for the SBs but that's fine, still much cheaper and easier to procure than physical copies. I hope they release a few more before going underground again.

Purchased a couple of new Shaw Brothers on iTunes, which then prompted my purchase of the original films on dvd/blu ray.

I sort of reembraced the first Black Magic after seeing the often so bad it's good sequel last night.

It is impossible to believe anyone but Ku Feng as the baddie in the first film, but the Hammer Horror like makeups and dissolves and a couple of truly ewwwww moments make them work.

I will say outside of Sun Chung's horrors, I still have no desire to revisit or see any of more notorious early 80s SB horrors. My Ti Lung fan woman is just too fierce not to have physical copies of these two movies in my collection (as he hilariously downplays his heroic image for more of a beefcake or scholarly guy.) These two films are very campy, goofy and not really scary. They exist for the make ups and gross outs.

And if the poster for the first film should materialize, yeah, I'll jump. I love how OTT it is.

Thank you so much for the tip! That EOSHD profile looks amazing. Might have to download that!
